I would say around May through to July. Winters can be brutal in some areas.

Kari Arnason started for Iceland tonight. He doesn't seem to be a regular starter any more so no idea if he's just the preferred choice or if injuries/suspension have got him back in the 11.

I'm still gutted at how bad Arnasons second stint was.  The excitement of his signing was up there with Stevie May, and equally as disappointing.

Robert Fik... 26 year old Dutch amateur striker who Calderwood compared to Steve Bull. Because that's the kind of shite Calderwood came away with. 

Ultimately decided remaining in the amateurs in the Netherlands was a better option than joining Aberdeen's Class of 2007-08. 

Robert would NOT go on to bigger and better things, and seems to have fallen off the face of the Earth... indeed there are only two pictures of him on Google, one is a grainy mugshot from an Aberdeen paper

 

And the other one is this...

It's a case of 'What If' for Robert. 

If he'd grabbed the chance to play for Jimmy's Team he would have gone on to play in the group stages of European competition, following Mackie's 'Million Pound Goal' that put the Dons through at the expense of Dnipro a few months later. 

Instead...
