Where Are They Now

Recommended Posts

Ronnie Hernandez getting a run of games at Atlanta now. Anyone watch these? Still don't expect him back but if he's playing well they might pay a decent  fee for him.

I believe getting our money back to cover the fee and wages would be the best outcome we can hope for. Would be amazed if we saw any profit from the deal. He's just not a £1m player.

According to Alan Nixon, Wycombe want Cosgrove. Didn’t take long for Birmingham to suss him out.

Working his way back down the leagues. Be back at Carlisle or similar 4th tier pish soon enough.

Florin Kamberi - signed for Sheff Wednesday on season long loan.

Watched game last night. Came on early due to a bad injury. Did ok.

Standard was terrible. Charlton with Stockley and Sheff Wed Kamberi up front 2 of the better players.

0-0.

We well and truly had their pants down there.

Saw some of Sheff Utd v Birmingham. Two utter garbage teams. Championship is awful too.

Wasn't in Crewe squad so could be true.

He left because he wanted to see what his options were after getting made an offer to stay, Glass only wanted players fully committed to club so withdrew contract

Played for Crewe on 27th July v Oldham. Nothing on their website about him retiring, plenty other news about the club in the last few hours never mind days.

Where are you seeing that he's retired?

Was told by a family member,

Ok just watched the Crewe manager's last 2 pre-match pressers from Friday and yesterday, He's a dour fucker.....makes McInnes look positively optimistic.

Anyway on Friday when asked if he had any updates on the club, he said "no not really. It'll all come out in the wash eventually" and moved swiftly on. Yesterday, was asked about any news regarding the squad prior to their match tonight v Hartlepool. Said that there has been an issue with one player but that he cannot comment on it for now. Maybe your source is correct after all

Love that for a presser answer.  “Anything happening”

”nah, it’ll all come out in the wash anyway”

somewhere between “fuck knows” and “do yer jobs loons”

Freddie Woodman in goal for Newcastle today.

Was he any good? All I can remember about him was he saved a couple pens in a shootout for us.

He was fucking horrendous at Kilmarnock before he joined us on loan.

We were so shit overall when he joined that it's difficult to remember him for anything. I can't think of any total fuck ups and I do think he didn't play too many games (less than 10??) because Lewis recovered from injury a lot faster than he was expected to

Gerd Muller........in a German mortuary fridge

Will mean nothing to anyone aged under 40. Scored the winning goal for West Germany in 1974 WC final and broke my 7 year old heart as I was backing Holland.

Also scored a shitload of goals for Bayern Munich, picking up European Cup medals along the way

Woodman was shite for Newcastle, did save a penalty but west ham scored the rebound. Every other goal he was like one of our recent keepers.
