Hutton was a bit like Foster (not comparing the two directly).  Shite on the ball but a lot of pace to make up for his inevitable mistakes.  The Cafu reference was his ability to make the lung busting runs forward over and over but my abiding memory was his failure to deliver once he got there, over and over.

Plus he had that dangerous quality of thinking he was a whole load better than he actually was.

King loaned them money at 16% interest? That's a pretty nice deal for him.

16% was compounded.

It was 8% APR.

The interesting part is that they've been marked as a "material uncertainty" by the auditors, however the fact that they also managed to secure a bank loan suggests that its not as risky as we might hope.

Certainly the Slippy G compensation would be welcomed but does strongly suggest that the war chest is extremely low and they're gambling on CL money

Does it state how much the bank loan is for though? Might just be for a few million and the bank holds the title deeds for training complex for all we know? But like you say it probably does signal things aren't as bad as we would hope!

Things are always bad if you are a hun.

Being that they are the absolute dregs of humanity*.

You shag the Union flag.

You sing God save the Queen without remotely showing embarrassment.

You pride yourself on wearing orange >>> as a tribute to Dutch players who scooped EBTs for 4 or 5 years of your rapidly dwindling existence.

You are too fucking retarded to acknowledge the expiration of your club in 2012.

Conclusion:

It's bad being a hun.

Probably the worst possible existence on the planet.**

*Possibly not escalated to this category yet.

Advancement from orc subspecies still to be ascertained.

**Nope. Can't think of any worse. Feel free to suggest.

Being a sports journalist must be so fucking easy.

Just read that Villa are going back for Patterson and Kamara.

Speculation is that they face competition from Bayern Munich, PSG, Man Utd and Athletico Madrid who have been keeping tabs on the SevCo reserve RB

I guess the challenge is being a reputable sports journalist

?

Has he just added all the clubs that scouted Ramsay to Patterson’s list as well?

As far as I remember it was only one club that was rumoured to be showing an interest in Patterson

Hutton was infinitely better than Foster

Absolutely stupid thing for you to say

Without entering the Neil Lennon is a (siamese) pussy debate that tweet someone posted earlier is now bang on regardless of the author.  That them employing “presence” no doubt underpinned by social media collaboration now trumps simple core ability*.  It’s almost an open acceptance that the whole arse cheek environ is a cloud, a mythical thing that everyone just buys into, both those within it and those on the outside looking in.

* Not for a second suggesting McInnes was ever the man for the job (the point made in the original tweet) rather that someone like, say, Walter Smith wouldn’t get a look in any more as he wouldnt be considered a “big enough” name.  It’s almost like the antithesis of the EPL lower reaches managerial merry go round where safety is ignored for perceived stature.

Fuck I hope it blows up in their twisted faces.

The Hun board needed  a former player to come on board to pacifty the Orcs

Hardly the greatest appointment

Did McClueless turn them down once again

Unfortunately a better and much more experienced and successful appointment than Glass, and his predecessor.

He won the Dutch title some 5 years ago now and done very little of note since. Lets not get too carried away.....

Gerrard won ONE trophy in nine attempts.

He made one cup final. He lost.

He spent more than any other team. Significantly more.

It wouldn’t take much to be an upgrade on that over-rated cunt.

Van Bronckhorst won a league & two cups, in a stronger league,

Gerrard is a fucking clown & will get found out in a proper league.

VB will have fuck all money to spend.

Sevco have to find circa £11m just to keep going till the end of the season so unless they sell a few players for millions, VB will have to make do with the squad they have less the players they sell.

Let’s see if he is a chequebook manager like Gerrard
