Out Of Contract

Recommended Posts

It’s good to see us have a bit belief in our younger players. They just need to keep the desire to improve up and receive good coaching to bring out the best in them.

who on here wants to admit they wish Derek McInnes was still the boss? C’mon, don’t be afraid….what’s the worst that can happen by admitting it?

Next May could really see the back of the longer serving McInnes era players. Hopefully Aberdeen will part ways with the majority of them and find more than adequate replacements.

I've watched nwgenya a few times and he must be outstanding in training to get a 3 year deal. Even against Buckie he was distinctly average.

Club must look at his size and see something but he's technically miles off it.

Kennedy and McLennan till 2023 🤮

I think one of these should be going out on loan in the league (and backfill by a winger version of Jenks) to see if we can bring them back to life

Running total of who is not Glass's boys

Only 12 players and I can see it being probably 2 or 3 less by Tuesday night.

That's absolutely incredible really and it'll be completely Glass's squad before too long given 50% of them have 9 months on their contract.

So we've got a hunner players but for some reason...

We've went with only one penalty box striker and he's new to British football.

We've went with only three centre halfs for the next four months so literally playing Brown, Mackenzie or 17yr old lads at centre half if we pick up another long term injury.

We've got 600 central midfielders which will result in Campbell, McGeouch and Jenks getting zero minutes and very regular playing out of position for all of the rest of them apart from Scott Brown.

Big squad, loads of players but a few brave shouts

GK - Lewis and Woods.

RB - Ramsay, Gurr and McCrorie

CB - Bates, McCrorie, Gallagher, Devlin and Considine

LB - Mackenzie, Ngwenya, Hayes, Campbell, Considine

CM - Brown, Ferguson, Ojo, Longstaff, McCrorie, McGeouch, Campbell, Jenks

RM - McLennan, Kennedy, McGinn, Watkins

LM - Hayes, Hedges

ST - Ramirez, JET, Watkins, Samuels

Loads of players and Glass needs to make it work on the pitch now.

It feels like we could have dropped about 3 of those centre mids and had another penalty box striker, winger and versatile defender

We have Two fit CH’s not three.
Even if Devlin does miraculously get back to fitness he will be a long way from match fitness needed for defensive cover & (knowing his history) will most likely be injured again long before he gets to that stage.

McCrorie is probably further away from being a CH for us than Devlin is & he is actually fit 🤣

Glass has been a complete bellend towards our central defensive set up. Totally amateur to embarrassing proportions  at this level.

Hopefully he knows what he is doing. He does want to introduce Hancock soon. left sided centre half

Well he's got a massive squad, thats for sure.  Looks overloaded in some areas and a bit light in others though.

Hopefully he can find a system and a line up quickly that gets the best out of them.

Well hopefully he can hit the ground running at McKenna levels but (nothing against him as I know nothing of him) I don’t think we will be that fortunate.

I genuinely think Glass has really fkd us up defensively with crazy gambles

Unfortunately that system appears to be overload the team with central midfielders & not have wingers.

How do you know that about Hancock?

He’ll be 5th choice in a few weeks (allegedly if the rumour about Devlin’s leg transplants is true).

1) he's moved him ahead of turner and power in the pecking order. they are both older than hancock

2) he's been involved with squad every game even though he's not been on bench every game

3) he's told us there will be more debuts sooner rather than later and there are not many other candidates now that hanratty etc are away on loan
