Helmet
Hibs have signed 7 now? We've no idea how good they are but they certainly don't seem to have any trouble getting deals over the line. Link to comment

Their signings are managed by the owner's son. I'm pretty relaxed. Still trying to replace Boyle by buying up lots of mediocrity. Will push for 6th. Link to comment

Up there with Bobby Williamson ending up at Uganda. Link to comment

Other clubs are out there getting the players to fill the team, while we're schlepping around signing one or two with the deadline looming. "It's because we're taking the time to get it right!" we're told... as we eventually bring in Gurr, Hornby, McGeough, Kennedy, Hernandez, Main, Gallagher, Taylor, Ojo, Bates, Montgomery, the other Gallagher... I don't think it is because we're taking time to get it right, you know. Link to comment

Are we targeting players where we are in competition with richer clubs? Are we too slow in getting deals done? Or are we not very good at selling the club to players once identified? Link to comment

Probably a combination of all of those points. You'd hope if someone was waiting for all options on the table with the extra cash we are away to get that we could just sweeten the deal with a higher signing bonus to get them over the line. I think since Calderwood's era we've gone with the innovative, and probably unique, 'No Fucking Scouts' system of identifying new players. That doesn't really help when it comes to quickly identifying emerging talent before someone else snaps them up, and we're left with journeymen that can maybe do a job, or maybe not, but probably won't be very good or recoup any kind of fee when they fuck off back to the obscurity of England's fourth tier. Hopefully that's been addressed in the last couple of seasons, but any time I ask "How's that scout network of ours coming along?" , those 'itk' on here give the response, "Eeeeeeehhhhhm...." In the latter days of the McInnes reign especially, we seemed to pay over the odds, wages wise, for dumplings like McGeough, Kennedy, and then that trilogy of idiots Hornby, Hendry and that Swiss Cunt, canna even mine his name. So maybe there is a push back against that now, given that even after McInnes had shot his bolt, we still seemed to continue that strategy of paying way over the odds by taking in JET, Brown, Gallagher, Bates, etc etc Fuck knows is the answer Link to comment

Wester Hailes Skins
Sounding like fees agreed by Hearts with clubs for Lawrence Shankland, Jorge Grant and Alex Cochrane. Tours and personal terms stages for all 3. Adding to Kye Rowles, Alan Forrest and Lewis Neilson. Expecting still more arrivals as we look to compete on 4 fronts. Link to comment

Why would you arrange a tour for Alex Cochrane? Is he a bit simple and forgot he was with you last season? Maybe you've moved the training ground? Fuck off ya knucklehead. 1 Link to comment
