Whilst, today we're all laughing at the jute, what's the point of Scottish football?

In a wider context.

There is literally no hope of any team outside those two winning the league.

Maybe, the odd scrap off the cup table, but no chance at the big prize. The tv deal is set up to accommodate them : Hun/Tim away tv, and the new deal will undoubtedly be worse for the rest.

Obviously, this is not unique to Scotland, (Bayern being the obvious other dominant force) but the distance between the top and the rest is ridiculously large, and no one in the executive structure seems bothered or at all interested in bringing about any change.

Why aren't we looking at wage caps and income distribution?

All summer we've been bombarded by the lionesses and talk of how important it is for kids to see opportunity, well in Scotland they get two teams rammed down their throat, so what they see is what they follow.

Walk past the away buses that they bring and they are from all over for these mutants. It isn't all my grandfather supported them yada yada it's all they see growing up, and they (like some of our central belt 80s era support) become attracted to the winning teams.

The talk is always about them leaving for greener pastures, but we'd all be better if we kicked them out and had a proper league.

Not going to happen unfortunately.

It's just a total shit show.
