I’ve cooked stovies all my life and not once does it look like that, for a start you would cook everything veg wise in the pot first, add stock and gravy, cook the lorne separately, cut it in cubes and add, aw you would get doing it that Greenock way was a pile of beef mush gadz.

by the end it should be a reduced, clumpy mashed up mess, with not a lot of liquid left, looks like shit, tastes like heaven.soaked up with a French baguette
