Casinos are good for this, go in regularly, change a £1000 and then fuck about with a £100 quid for a few hours. Worst case scenario you lose a ton but get a cheque for the £900 when you cash in and hey presto you won it gambling.

I saw an old film where some boy went in and put 50% on black and 50% on white on the roulette table.

Spin of the wheel and the money was clean, when questioned, he said he won it at the casino.

Probably shite and you'd need to get a better story for the feds but it seemed plausible at the time.

I've never received a cheque for payment for winnings in a casino.

Are you referring to 1960's Las Vegas? (Barring the incorrect currency)

If you win a decent amount they’ll give you a cheque. You’re nae exactly walking hame pished with £2k in your pocket!

Even though if you were at it you’d be buying the chips in cash in the first place.

Been paid out more than that in cash, never thought to ask for a cheque.

Chaos.

If you only need to launder £1,000 it’s nae really money laundering. All gambling establishments have pretty strict know your customer rules, you’d get found out pretty quick.

Terrible story

Really terrible

I don’t think it was exactly a hilarious anecdote MT. Was purely stating fact.

Please tell us some of your tremendous stories!

Or just do what almost everyone else does on here and ignore stuff you think is pish / irrelevant, move on to something that you take an interest in and comment on that.

Life would be so much easier for you.

Seems pretty inefficient, if laundering money means you lose 50% of what you had.

There's a 36/37 chance that you actually break even rather than lose the lot.

This assumes it's black and red rather than black and white.

Your 50% loss is either gross fishing or gross stupidity. It's difficult to tell these days.

My mistake, black and red not black and white.

Ignorance, sheer ignorance, as a great man once said.

"In 2014, Logan was at the centre of a row when he accused Celtic player Aleksandar Tonev of racial abuse."

Article sounds like it was written by a Celtic fan.

Yep.  Not  ' He was racially abused by Celtic player Tonev'.  Just  'he accused Tonev'.  Totally ignoring the fact Tonev was judged  guilty and got a 7 game ban.

Is any of this actually facts or just speculation that it is him?  Seems all a bit suss that these two things came out really quickly after his jibes at Celtic recently.

Could they print potentially libellous accusations like that without them being true?

if they weren’t true surely that mouthpiece would be all over the internet shouting about it.

He was good in his early years for the dons but he’s a bit of a knob. Never heard anyone say anything positive about meeting him

Was more just the wording of the two accusations. "is understood to have been pulled over" "on suspicion of drink driving" etc etc
