Got a letter in for a flu jab now, got to go to the old John Lewis next week, fuck knows what they're pumping into us, will look like a pin cushion soon. If the nats had any organisation skills they'd do the flu and the booster at the same time, shambles party.

Flu jab is for gays

well that’s what joe pike told me when he was away to get his.

Probable weed smoker.

Mary from Hilldon was the same and he/she hasn't been seen in many a long day.

Happy to puff on a dried out plant that's spent months getting fusty, jammed inside a Bolivian mules shit pipe, traversing 6 continents.   but won't take a WHO approved vaccine that will save your life.

Paranoid and dead.   A great pity.

Not much weed getting smuggled these days. Most of it will be getting grown in a warehouse. I'm reliably informed by my dealer.

If you have a headache, you take 2 paracetamol tablets. So would your mother.

It's also true that a child's immune system is still developing at a rapid rate of knots as they grow so the response to an immunisation will be more effective than your typical adult. Over fifties and those at severe risk from covid are about to start receiving third vaccinations as their immune systems are starting to decline so their response might not be as good as a younger adult. It remains to be seen if the third vaccine is the same type as the first two or whether those that received Astra-Zeneca will get a Pfizer or Moderna vaccine (they work in different ways so there is a theory that you might end up with a better overall protection that way).

EDIT...as to why you don't just get one big dose as an adult......presumably the trials that were carried out proved that 2 separate vaccinations with a minimum 3 week gap elicited a better response that a single dose (they absolutely would have trialled this)

@Ten Caat

My bird has had 2 doses o Pfizer already, but as it wasn't in the UK thinking about getting another 2 to get a vaccine passport. Be alright aye?

As for weed, smoke it most nights these days. Helps you relax and possibly sleep better, not any more mental than I was previously. Can't handle proper hangovers these days, so that's a positive too.

The effects of a nuclear incident go far beyond immediate body count, though.

I don't think the seriousness of a nuclear incident is measured in those people immediately killed, but in the subsequent effects they have on public health and environmental damage.

Also, I don't think Fukushima was anywhere as bad as it could have been.

I guess the question could be, how many people were evacuated, and how many would have died if they hadn't been?

If she was going to do that, I'd suggest she specifically asks for it to be Astra-Zeneca. I wouldn't like to hazard a guess as to how 4 doses of the same vaccine might affect someone. 3 would probably be ok given that we are about to start giving a third dose to vulnerable folk but a 4th I think would be too much of a risk. AZ has a totally different mode of action so I'd think that would be the safer option

I know a girl who died of flu, it's way more serious than covid.

Figures from last year suggest not but now that a majority of folk have had their covid vaccine it will be interesting to see how it compares after this winter

Deaths due to coronavirus (COVID-19) compared with deaths ...

You need to stop posting, lets face it, meaningless snippets like above that does nothing to change the mind of a "no" voter other than perhaps entrench their existing mindset.

No different to a Unionist posting something like this and the effect it has on a "Yes" supporter (other than them retorting with more meaningless snippets!) :

"The trouble with being a Scottish Independent supporter is that you have to hope Scotland succeeds at everything just to justify your position, its not a great position, while you’re a “proud Scot”, you hope that oil does not run out, or at least hope the price of oil remains high, you hope the NHS improves, you hope your kids education improves to prove your point, you hope the weather doesn’t cause chaos so you have to blame the SNP,  you still enjoy great pleasure even when your country falls short of the standards promised, ladies and gentleman that is the true face of the Scottish Independent supporter, one who cannot see past their SNP ‘overlords’.

"I think the Scots will come to a good conclusion in the referendum. They'll get what they deserve." Billy Connolly (who never voted on the referendum itself)

Looks like your lies have caught up with you as the above must apply too you as you have stated a few times you are an independence supporter.

unless of course you were too embarrassed to admit you prefer England running our business.

No country succeeds at everything so why should Scotland and independence supporters know Scotland will have its ups and downs just like any other normal country.

we also don't feel every aspect of life/policy has to be better otherwise independence cant be done ie you cant be independent because of (incert any excuse here)

If the tampon machine is there, will it honestly, hand on heart, impact you? Will your use of the toilet be disturbed or disrupted?
