Fits this got to do with independence?

You'd assume we'd have the ability to vote out incompetent governments such as this, when and as was agreed, upon gaining independence.

The SNP are an incompetent shower of cunts who I wouldn't vote for if they didn't want independence, there are plenty folk who think like that.

Pointing out how shite the SNP can be doesn't negate from valid points about independence. They are just another middle of the road, liberal party, with an independence twist.

Aye. Loads of Unionists seem to think the SNP fucking something up means Scotland shouldn't be independent.

A bizarre way to look at things.

Every mistake the SNP make- we couldn't cope on our own.

Think this thread went past that question a long time ago.

No sane person  would ever vote for this lot.

Probably excuses you then Consi.

Scotland probably isn't capable of governing itself, to be fair.  But then again, England hasn't done a great job of it either.

Get a proper country to do the governing... like France or Germany.

Who do you vote for? Douglas Ross?

Are you calling the majority of Scottish voters insane?

They received 47.7% of the vote on a 63% turnout.  You could lump the Green voters in I suppose (they're not the full shilling either) but that still leaves you short

Why does it matter who he votes for? There is so much "whataboutery" in politics it makes the arguments of West coast football pale into insignificance.

It matters when the OP is questioning the sanity of all voters that didn't vote the same way as him.

Ok, so let's say, are you calling near enough half of Scottish voters insane? @Joe pike

The only reason anyone would vote Tory is to protect themselves.

Joe Pike is clearly a selfish wee boomer

Scotland will never get to govern itself with the ridiculous fash and hun sentiment up and down our wee country.

Many in here claim to be staunch hun haters but speak like, think like, and act like huns.

They just hate a badge and a certain class of people.

This is easily flipped on its head.

Anything bad or cunty the current Westminster Government does - Means Independence is a great idea just .. because.

Anything good we get out of being in the union (E.G. over 40% of the working populations wages in Scotland being paid for by Westminster during Covid / more spending per head in Scotland than England due to the Barnett Formula) - Ignore. Or claim we would magically have it all anyway if independent.

Imagine living in a colonised nation and not wanting freed from that. You're a Tory as well aren't you? Go away.

A nation of shitebags.

Renton put it best, actually.

One of two ways IMO.

They feared they were using the young vote IMO, because of their reliance on oil post independence, so the Green alliance strengthens that again.

Many older people find the greens totally unpalatable and it could turn them off.

It'll never happen as long as the BBC etc are allowed to report biased nonsense with impunity.

Cunts lap it up
