If United were the club they should be then they should fire Greenwood with no notice and no pay-off. There must be a clause in his contract about his personal conduct and not bringing the club into disrepute. 

But they won't. They'll send him to some sort of counselling, having first made the now standard claim that he's suffering mental health problems likely linked to "issues" he had growing up. In an (in all likelihood successful) attempt to keep him out of jail at all costs. Massive fine incoming of course but they'll take that all day long.

Most celebs/well known folk avoid jail for it. He defo needs some sort of help.

No idea. Not an absolute thing, but I'd suggest it's fair to say it's easier to intervene in someone young, than some repeat offender in his 30's or something. 
 

Point I was making is he deserves his punishment but he's young enough to make meaningful changes now, which is important to ensure there are no more victims due to his vile behaviour.
