Byrne Baby Byrne
I will be amazed if Christie gets to sit a suspension for a Celtic game. I would actually be less shocked if the SPFL don't give him an extra 2 games suspension just for good measure Link to comment

I would actually be less shocked if the SPFL don't give him an extra 2 games suspension just for good measure Why wouldn't he? He's got to be either a Celtic player (parent club) or an Aberdeen player so serves his ban. If he got banned last game of the season and returned to Celtic he'd be banned for their first game. The ban is the person not the club he plays for. Link to comment
oilcat
Andrew Shinie is saying that Christie is still one booking way from a suspension? Link to comment
GDON21
His ban would count for the game against celtic if it was in fact them we play. Case closed. Link to comment
Tord31
he'll nae be banned by the looks of it so we'll never find oot. Consi due a one game ban in first or second gameMckenna, Christie and McLean are still one booking away from a one game ban Link to comment

Seems to be a moot point now that he's still actually 1 yellow card away from a suspension but a match vs Celtic wouldn't count as his suspended match. Serving of Suspensions – Eligibility A player’s suspension can only be served if the player is otherwise eligible for selection for a match. A player who is ineligible for a match due to the application of competition rules or other reason cannot regard that fixture as having served a suspension. FAKT Link to comment
Tord31
being cup tied etc is probably what that relates to i doubt there is a specific rule for this situation and im fairly sure we are not going to find out as he needs to play for us, be booked and play celtic 10-14 days after the booking so its a tad unlikely Link to comment

Oban Red
I don't particularly want to watch Ceptic win the league but Sevco getting special treatment As usual because their shit fans can't behave themselves. Fucking joke. Link to comment
Tord31
old firm announced now as 2nd game - lol if celtic lose/draw their first game Link to comment
Geoff_Tipps
If that's the case I really hope we play Celtic the first game of the split. A draw or a victory to the Dandies would suit both Aberdeen and Celtic. Link to comment
Tord31
thats some positive spin if it turns out Link to comment

Foster14
I'm still confused by this. They will play each other this week for a chance to play in the cup final. No issue from the authorities, go ahead. On the other hand, they can't play each other in a title decider that isn't even a decider, as the league has been decided, it is just a matter of timing. I know which I'd be more pissed off losing as a fan. Seems the authorities don't though... Link to comment

Henry
Of course, by virtue of this complete shambles, they're fanning the flames for when they actually do play. Link to comment
S2RDS
It could only happen in this country. What a fucking farce of a setup. Here's an idea, why not just fucking dock points or kick them out out the cups every time their fans misbehave? if its outside the ground, then deal with it the same way any other member of the public would be treated for being a cunt! simples. SheepieBaaBaa
Its a fucking disgrace They should play whenever the fucking fixtures are announces and if they don't behave they get fines and point deductions A 10 point deduction would do just fine. Let's face it though, they could raze Glasgow to the ground and that wouldn't happen. Link to comment

pocrawred
If this was any other team in Scotland havin trouble like this pair from the same erse cheeks they would of had points deducted, stadium closed, banned from Europe for three seasons!! Fkn panderin cunts the west coast toldies. Link to comment
Parklife
As long as Scottish clubs continue to reject strict liability, the authorities will have limited scope to properly punish them. Link to comment

GDON21
You know it's the police that refuse to police it which us why it doesn't happen and not an SPFL ruling, yeah? The SPFL are a joke. I don't doubt for a second that they had two sets of fixtures ready to release yesterday, 1. If Celtic could win the title in the first game meaning the first game would not be against sevco.2. If Celtic couldn't win the title in the first game meaning the first game would be vs sevco. They are now completely bricking it from Celtic and Brendan Rodgers after his comments on Sunday night and are seriously considering listing the old firm for the first week purely on the back of this. They will face backlash from the police and are clearly in discussions with them to try and list this fixture in the first week. There is no other reason why this is taking so long as it is making them look even more incompetent by the hour. Link to comment
pocrawred
I hope the huns play celtic for the decider and the trouble that will ensue if the smellys win the league. Bring the erse cheeks down and the corrupt sfa with them. Round them up put them in a field and bomb the basturts I say. Link to comment

Can you show me where you saw this please? Police are consulted and their views given due consideration. It'd be unacceptable for police to "refuse" to police a game. Link to comment
