What's the current feeling with Connor Barron?  I see he's off to Kelty on loan.  This time last season a few were saying he wasn't far off the first team... with some predicting he might get a few games.

Thanks for that RUL,always great to hear of victories over Rangers whatever the level. The programme for the Dundee United match had good potted biographies and pictures of the best u16 footballers coming through the Dons Academy.Aberdeen have always produced excellent homegrown players.Stepheb Glass himself a perfect example, and  nice to hear Scott Brown there watching the game The young players will notice and appreciate that.

What criteria do AFC look for when loaning our players out? The loans this season are quite random in league status and location. Highland Lesgue, League 2 etc.

Suffered a bad knee injury and heavily impacted by the covid restrictions also. I'm not sure he will make it now at Aberdeen. Important loan for him at Kelty.

I think he’s going to be ace. Have a look for his first ever goal for Brechin.

Heard on the radio Elgin 2-0 away to Hibs B (albeit with the euro game later this week Hibs B will be their very true reserves)

Charlie Adams and Chris Burke didn’t seem in the slightest interested.  Distracted even.

Finished 1-0.

Well done the young team.

Aye, a good win against Celtic and now a win against a decent Highland side with 10 men. It's clear that the winning mentality is seeping through to the young uns as well. I've faith in Robson as a good coach and mentor... he's maybe seen as a bit of a head case by some but his interview pre-season impressed. Hopefully he's the man who supplies us with more McKenzie's and Ramsay's.

Did Brora not put 6 past us last season?

A decent result when so many young players involved.

They did and going by Robson's pre-match interview it sounded like he was half expecting more of the same. Tremendous result.

Just goes to show you the levels in professional football. A u18 side beating a good side in Brora and half the 18s side will never make it at professional level.

It wasn't our u18s to be fair. It was our development squad. Different squad. Mostly older players on loan at moment.

Thought we deserved the win last night, great grit when down to 10.

Big test v Arbroath.

U15's game was off due to covid, U13's lost 5-3 to rangers. Well done to Aberdeen U14's, who qualified for the cup final with a 9-0 win over Hamilton. Good luck in the final.

For the first time in living memory a non first team fixture will take place at Pittodrie on a Saturday afternoon this weekend. The Aberdeen B team host Arbroath in the SPFL Trust Trophy challenge cup.It is a good decision and I hope there is a healthy turn out to cheer on the Young Dons.
