starryfish 79 Posted June 22, 2019 Right back but can play elsewhere, this season’s Dom Ball Share this post Link to post
CalgaryDon 137 Posted June 22, 2019 (edited) https://www.afc.co.uk/2019/06/22/atlanta-midfielder-joins-on-loan/ A little bit about him on the Aberdeen website. Sounds more promising then Dom Ball. "The loan is for the remainder of the 2019 MLS season" - when does the MLS season officially end? Edited June 22, 2019 by CalgaryDon Share this post Link to post
Donmacca 64 Posted June 22, 2019 According to wikipedia he's a forward, winger, full back. Hasn't made a 1st team appearance yet so guessing Cormack has pushed this through to aid his development Share this post Link to post
North_Andy_Dandy 7 Posted June 22, 2019 Welcome aboard loon! Cormack’s ties getting used, I’d imagine Atlanta are covering the cost of his wages which is a bonus. Share this post Link to post
Tord31 719 Posted June 22, 2019 good move @@Dad heading over to smooth the deal Share this post Link to post
Tord31 719 Posted June 22, 2019 Looks like he was a right winger/forward at uni under Bobby Clark scoring goals left, right and centre. 14th pick in the 2018 draft but has not cut the mustard at Atlanta. Most recently he's been there back up right back. Probably Atlanta covering his wages until Christmas and its a punt to nothing to keep our american investors sweet welcome aboard Myles Anderson II Share this post Link to post
BWG 2,938 Posted June 22, 2019 Utility player then. Well at least Dom Ball won't be back. 1 Share this post Link to post
1903Fitba 1,036 Posted June 22, 2019 https://www.afc.co.uk/2019/06/22/atlanta-midfielder-joins-on-loan/Sounds more promising then Dom Ball. Imagine actually thinking that. Boys played about 40 competitive games for an MLS Second team and 80 college games which are on par with Sunday League. Hope he’ll be good, imagine he’ll be shite. Share this post Link to post
Sooper-hanz 1,883 Posted June 22, 2019 Fucking terrific You say terrific , I say a goalie moving his hands out the way of the ball. 1 Share this post Link to post
strachanmcgheegoal 940 Posted June 22, 2019 And a deflection off the wall. Share this post Link to post
torry_battery_ram 100 Posted June 22, 2019 Clearly brought in as cover if we end up getting injuries. I remember people writing off Sam Cosgrove as he had a poor record in English non league football and he's done not too bad so lets give this Gallagher guy a chance before writing him off as shite Share this post Link to post

Hope he’ll be good, imagine he’ll be shite.I'll settle for us even getting to see him get a run. This one could go either way. Share this post Link to post

Shinniesta 562 Posted June 22, 2019 Definitely looks like he has ability from the clips and for sure finishes better than the current version of Stevie May can but whether he can cut the mustard at SPFL level remains to be seen. He's only 23 lets hope it's a success. Welcome to the Dons Jon! 1 Share this post Link to post
Tord31 719 Posted June 22, 2019 some of his ex notre dam teammates seem very sure he'll make it. promising Share this post Link to post
V for Vendetta 1,369 Posted June 22, 2019 Bit of an odd one as the lad hasn't even played for Atlanta Utd it seems? Squad player I suppose and no harm in having cover for Logan. Any left backs..? Share this post Link to post
TheRock 135 Posted June 22, 2019 (edited) Been playing for Stephen Glass at Atlanta. Can only assume that played a part (even if it was only his manager being able to actually speak from experience about the city and club) Edited June 22, 2019 by TheRock Share this post Link to post
OddJob 278 Posted June 22, 2019 Yeah definitely a random signing but at the same time it’s good to form some sort of link with the Yankee teams and if he does end up doing well can hopefully mean some more guys heading over in the future. Welcome to the club loon Share this post Link to post
V for Vendetta 1,369 Posted June 22, 2019 Been playing for Stephen Glass at Atlanta 2. Can only assume that played a part (even if it was only his manager being able to actually speak from experience about the city and club)Fixed it Share this post Link to post
TheRock 135 Posted June 22, 2019 (edited) I thought that was like the equivalent of their Colt teams. Are they actually different clubs? Edited June 22, 2019 by TheRock Share this post Link to post
V for Vendetta 1,369 Posted June 22, 2019 I thought that was like the equivalent of their Colt teams. Are they actually different clubs?I've no idea but I assume the same as you did. It just stuck out to me when I read that article- he's never played for their first team, so I'd guess he's a bit of a gamble/project player again or he's simply here to provide a wee bit of cover. Or.. maybe it's to open the door to other opportunities? Fuck knows. Share this post Link to post
Sooper-hanz 1,883 Posted June 23, 2019 there's no fucking way this guy is cutting it in Scotland. Share this post Link to post
super_al 278 Posted June 23, 2019 This seems a very odd signing. The guy is 23 and never played in a professional football match. Sorry but we have signed one decent player in 5 thus far. Share this post Link to post
Ke1t 4,143 Posted June 23, 2019 An absolute nothing signing on the face of it. So... moving on... Share this post Link to post
