"Initial studies from Denmark - where it's quickly taken hold and now makes up around half of Omicron cases - show no difference in hospitalisations between 'original' Omicron and BA.2. Hospital admissions etc all also falling. Updated guidance to be issued regarding working from home wherever possible to phased returns from 31 January. Indoor distancing reverting back to 1 metre following the 2 metre rule that was reintroduced due to Omicron. No changes to face coverings except for it no longer being required for those working indoors with kids under 5. wider relaxation of coverings under consideration. Link to comment
