I did wonder. Never seen him do any of these twitter things before. See even if it his thing Id argue it's a still a bit cuntish.

It’s what he’s built his career on. If you listen to any of the podcast stuff he does with pilkington and merchant, they always take the piss out of him for being boastful about his success.

Public Health Scotland Weekly Report 22/12/2021

Vaccinated:

72.5 % Cases (+ 6.9%)
73.0 % Hospitalisations (+ 7.4%)
82.1 % Covid Deaths (- 1%)

Unvaccinated:

27.5 % Cases
27.0 % Hospitalisations
17.9 % Covid deaths

Population:

71.8 % vaccinated
28.2 % unvaccinated

What you will never be able to see for complete clarity is the percentage of cases, hospitilisations and deaths if 100% of the population were unvaccinated.

What you have there is just effectively a snapshot in time that would need potentially 3 months worth of figures in order to begin to see a stable pattern.

You are also not seeing unreported cases.

That data does exist.  Same trend.  But hey, lets return to this a couple of months from now.

You won't be surprised to find that the vulnerable and elderly continue to succumb to viral conditions regardless of vaccine status.

And you have evidence to clearly show that the phases of vaccines are not reducing the severity of covid infections?

There is data over the course of the year that clearly shows the number of cases going up significantly following each vaccine phase roll out.

i don't quite know what to make of that trend, because I suspect only the vaccinated are actually testing for covid, and the tests seem somewhat unreliable anyway.

I am interested in data regarding hospitalisations and deaths based on vaccine status but I'd be happier to also have data regarding co-morbidities.

Here's the PHS winter report released yesterday if you're interested.

I doubt anyone is surprised elderly and vulnerable people die.

No you didn't. You omitted the percentage increase of the unvaccinated.

Apologies.  Here are the PHS stats for previous week 15/12/2021

Vaccinated

65.6 % Cases
65.6 % Hospitalisations
83.1 % Covid deaths

Unvaccinated

34.4 % Cases
34.4 % Hospitalisations
16.9 % Covid deaths

Population

72.7 % Vaccinated
27.3 % Unvaccinated

You also deliberately misled by failing to add this:

"On average, unvaccinated individuals are younger than individuals with a booster or a 3rd dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Older individuals are more likely to be hospitalised than younger individuals. To account for the different age distribution of individuals in each vaccine status, age-standardised hospitalisation rates are reported in Table 14 and Figure 17."

Public Health Scotland COVID-19 & Winter Statistical Report

Page 41 for the table gives the unvaccinated a score of 34.54 compared with booster score of 2.77.

You've posted info that makes it look like vaccinated people are dropping dead.

0.9% increase in the % unvaccinated?  Did they un-vaccinate themselves?  ?

See post just above this. There's you misleading again.

Here's the factual stuff.

Can you post the age standardised stats please?

Thanks now.
