Woke actually is a derogatory term, almost exclusively used by daily mail journalists and right wing trolls. Nobody actually describes themselves as "woke", it's not even really a thing. strachanmcgheegoal
Genuine “banter” at a youth game I watched recently. context: early in the match home side defender who clearly thinks he’s erchie knocks the ball out for a throw defender: our ball ref attacker: shut the fuck up, your ball, tit. defender: aye but that’s me rent free in your head the rest of the game attacker: ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha me: fucking pooves the lot of ye. Ernie McCracken
Would love to see Considine back, however would be extremely concerned if the club did re-sign him as it would be a sign of desperation and that that they have massively fucked up the transfer window again. Link to comment

JamieMT
I thought we were wrong to release Andy Considine. Though i'd like to see him return and ultimately transition into part of the coaching team, it'd be a spectacular climb down on the part of the club & Goodwin if he does so. And a fairly hefty indication all is not well on the recruitment front too. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
Releasing him and taking him back so we can say we've signed an international centre back is a genius move! Link to comment
Matt Armstrong's Dog
Our Australian friends will be able to clarify this, I hope. #CentralCoastMariners? Link to comment
Andy_123
Maybe this is the exciting left sided CB Goodwin was telling us about in his interview with Hunter a while back Link to comment
brownie
If Considine returns then Goodwin will be seen to have little authority at the club. He made a huge song and dance about him being in charge, it being his decision and him wanting a younger squad. Link to comment

Maybe more of a climb down by Andy if he signs the deal we originally offered. Link to comment

I was pretty sure we offered Considine a deal but pulled out when he (or his agent) demanded more money and a longer deal. Link to comment

I may be wrong but my recollection is that the deal was pulled because discussion with the manager had been leaked. Link to comment

Ah right yes that fits with my suggestion as well. But nothing to do with punting Consi due to his age as far as I recall. Link to comment

Na it was the leak that revealed the contract had been pulled. Considines agent came back with a counter offer and the club used that as an excuse to pull the original offer which had been made before Goodwin was manager. Link to comment
