Caveat, they take about 10 times longer to vacuum a room than a human, and they're kinda shit on carpets and rugs. 

If you're mostly wood or tile floors then they're pretty good. 

Review how smart the Robot you're looking at is, because there's a huge difference in AI's. 

One we've got the wife named Rudy the Robot (because women do things like that), and one is called i-Tard, because it's fucking retarded.  There's a big difference in the speed they can cover a room. i-Tard often works itself into a corner then panics and shuts itself off after screaming something in Korean... "Help, I'm stuck in a corner" most likely.  Super handy. 

Also self-docking and self emptying are bonuses. 

And if you can fit a camera to one for the upskirts that's even better.
