Really strange we are signing another midfielder if Ferguson goes. What was the point of bringing in Longstaff? Unless it's a proper specialist no10 it makes no sense. I'd sign the LB from Breidablik who we were interested in which would give us another option to MacKenzie rather than the usual square peg in round hole by putting Deano there.

A move to either may be better for his bank balance but awful for his career.   I think he will stay until at least January.  I actually hope he does.

At least Sheffield United will be competing to go up. Huddersfield more likely to be in a relegation battle to stay in the championship.

I'd agree, not sulking, but he does seem to be playing at a reduced tempo / urgency of late.

Its maybe a high bar that he has set, but for me he's dipped below it.
