Steven Gunn- Football Operations Manager.

Recommended Posts

How the fuck did he get that gig? The boys qualified enough to be a HR Manager at B&Q at a push. He should stick to booking the hotels and pre match meals like he used to. Completely oot his depth now.

Similar to that tan man, ex copper beaut Jim Fraser who is now in charge of Academy Scouting I presume? No experience but strolled into the job.

Jobs for the trooser leg rolled up boys?

What does the job involve? Little more than a match day bus convenor with additional duties for Euro prelims. Don’t think he has any real impact on the first team squad  other than arranging their home shopping deliveries and barber appointments.

He did his work experience at Pittodrie and has stuck around since then.

He's actually Director of Football Operations.

I went to uni with him and remember him getting the job as a work placement. Can’t believe he’s still there.

Didn’t have much to do with the guy. I did shag his flat mate one night though. Female, before anyone starts.

Does he have the power to sack McInnes?

No that'll come down to the Board which is only

Cormack, Crotty, Eales, Wicks, MacIver, Milne and Buchan.

As Owners the above have Cormack has 38%, Crotty 15%, Eales/AtlantaUnited 9% and Milne has 12%

It's gonna come down to the three americans.

He could reduce bedding plants by 15% without phoning head office if he was doing a job that he's trained for.

We've a fucking ex HR student/tea boy in charge of the football operation and a ex copper in charge of youth scouting to top up his pension.

Little wonder both departments are a shambles.

Is youth scouting a shambles? Tough gig if local talent is shite.

Is that the job description for his exact role?   That wasn't what it used to be if it is the case.  He basically oversees logistics, contracts and travel.  There's a youth department that will oversee the development side but he's got nothing to do with that.

Surely to fuck he's not responsible for all of that?

Some pretty crucial and core responsibilities on that list. That's the heart of the club right there.

He'd probably say that he is talented but doesn't track back and is too small.

Aye that's the worry. Look at how Ash Taylor and his second move came about, just handing out contracts to your mates.

Richardson would prioritse someone's height and physicality over ability on the ball, hence the signing of King Huddy Curtis Main

Thats his OLD job description. He's had a promotion since then apparently and in charge of even more.

He's Director Of Fottball Operations now.
