Probably because there wasn't that much that came out that was either not known or interesting.

There was one area for me that should've been probed. Gunn said they've had this current recruitment strategy in place for about 4 years. Meaning looking all over the shop for emerging talent, getting a couple of good years out them and selling them for profit. You can see that's the strategy this summer but if it was in place last year how come we bought no one with resale value?

Last summer's window, what happened and why, was covered in some detail.

Not really. Said Mowbray was appointed after it. Didn't ask my question above, didn't ask who signed them, how players like JET can come through if we're having conversations about attitude/lifestyle etc

Following an extensive review of the football structure, Steven will now oversee all football functions across the Club in a wide-ranging role, including first team, academy, women’s team, recruitment, medical and sport science, performance, support operations, legal and ccompliance

Above from club article about his promotion shows how much responsibility he has or maybe is just a handy front man

The article says he is reponsible for overseeing first team and recruitment.   So he is responsible.

It’ll be Cormack who sacks Goodwin today, not Gunn. I’ve no idea why the club try and spin the story that we have a DoF in our structure when we clearly don’t. Probably Dave trying to make AFC look relevant in these modern times.

Gunn maybe deals with transfer registrations etc, as he always did, but he’s no DoF as we don’t have a DoF. If we did, he’d be the one standing on the steps of Cormack Park delivering the news later today
