His mother was headmistress at St Monica's primary in Coatbridge. He was a pupil there....

No idea where folk on here seem to get the idea Neil is a hun. I've said before categorically he's not...

McInnes will probably be back in Scotland managing St Johnstone (once Callum Davidson gets a job for a club McInnes has had his eyes on for ages) in 6/12 months.

ST Johnstone will not be a good job to take on after Davidson.

He’s highly unlikely to surpass Davidson’s achievements

Bristol City were arseholes and Sunderland were a fucking disaster zone

Charlton and Portsmouth are both wonderful football clubs - he's no daft

Charlton lost their home for years and were 30mins away from doing a rangers and dying. Portsmouth have been in administration.

You're a close 2nd to millermong when it comes to being clueless about football.

Ah well that sorted that not sure why you have that opinion tho

Because the fucker lied constantly, he knew that the rat faced mummies boy was off to Ibrox , despite saying he didn't know, then kept him in the cup final squad,

He lied about no interest in Scotland job , he was certainly whoring himself out.

He might of known jack was going to the rangers he wasn’t exactly going to not play him but for someone who was supposedly whoring himself about he knocked back all the opportunities he had to leave

Eric Black was dropped from a cup final for signing for another club ,  good enough for a player of his ilk it's good enough for a fucking prick like Jack

Yes but fergie took the huff and we had better players to play to play instead of black think we would of missed jack a lot if he didn’t play so it’s cutting your nose of to spite your face really.

And Eric black was from Alness so couldnt really trust him anyway

This is an important part and 7 Championship chairman have “overlooked” Alex Neil since he left Preston.

Struggling to think who would opt for DM

Not so sure he been overlooked.

When he left Preston he said he need to recharge the batteries. Was a difficult job,and maybe he has turned down some of the 7 Chairmen.?

He said back in April that his next plans would be determined by being contacted by a chairman for a job.

Hard to think he would have turned down some of those opportunities had he been offered them

You said categorically that Gallagher was devastated to miss out on a celtic move though

How many would opt for Glass?

I'm convinced you are trolling now. Otherwise your continued efforts to undermine Neil's record whilst defending Glass' shortcomings just isn’t believable.

He did the same with McInnes. It’s like debating with an idiot. He refuses to see what is happening until it is too late. He will come round though….just a bit slow.

Glass is not part of the discussion. It’s desperate trolling on your part to throw that in.

This discussion was about Derek McInnes and what job he’s likely to be offered and comparing with Alex Neil who is also likely to be interested in similar roles.

Is / was Glass interested /considered / available in these Championship positions? No, so it’s silly to throw that into the topic

Conversation by it's very nature is fluid.

You can't set the boundaries.

It's entirely valid.

Fair point, but irrelevant in my humble opinion as Glass is not in contention for these Championship positions. You’d have been better suggesting Neil Lennon or Yogi Hughes as available managers that thes 7 Championship clubs have overlooked

Not really because I'm interested in what makes you think Glass is a good manager and Alex Neil a poor one.
