Do the brains at pittodrie ever stop and think about the strips that come out each season.(Oh let’s stick a a few white strips on the shoulders, and maybe a blue ring round the short short sleeves if you can find them , and a bit of blue round the socks.   That’ll do for another season board members the idiots will spend a bunch of cash on them.)

To be fair to the brains at Aberdeen, they know they'll generate a lot of guaranteed revenue via the sales of the new home shirt and, in particular, the away shirt. The innovation of the AberDNA initiative is a fantastic method in generating even more income with subscribers being eligible for a new shirt.

Our away shirts over the past few seasons have been up there with some of the best around. The new one is a belter.

There has been better Aberdeen home shirts but it is by no means the worst we've ever had.

That's sarcasm,  right?  The blue one,  the off-white one,  last seasons one?  All terrible.

I though last season's one, the silver version from 2018-19, the gold away shirt from 2019-20, and the away top from season 2015-16 were definitely a set of the better away shirts on the market.

The blue one from 2017-18, like you say, wasn't one of the better ones mind.

The away top from 1993-94 is still by far the best one we've had until next season's version is officially unveiled.

There was another picture of the away top doing the rounds on Twitter.  Was the same design as the concept  picture further up the thread but had a slightly different vneck collar.  Looked really smart.  Both kits this year are a massive improvement on last years efforts.

I'll look oot for the one you speak aboot min.

Compared with last year's efforts, although I have seen worst, they are an improvement, which is a win-win for all concerned.

Here's very much hoping that is reciprocated by the players, which I have a feeling it will be?.

Sticking with your usual colours of red, white and blue. Modelled by a Rangers fan.

Deary me. You lot need to learn to hate a club properly.

Bloody hell, have you seen Hearts new third kit.

Looks like a kit an amateur team would wear. Probably apt ?

Why do they need a 3rd kit? I thought it was only required for European games? Their colours don't clash with any other top flight sides. Maybe in preperation for next season when they'll colour clash with Arbroath again.

That's like something you would see at Sheddocksley in the 80's.

At least it's not some pish like Spall or Gola

Aye, definitely an amateur teams cheap effort.

‘Even the Burntisland Adidas effort looks better with the stripes and the sponsor.

If Hearts ever play us in that monstrosity, we should belt out “Are you Burntisland in disguise?”

Your new strip is shit. Hibs' new strip is shit. Our new strip is shit. Thin training tops with print badges.

Gimme the 80s and 90s. Thick material. Proppa collars. Material badges. Big shorts. Great designs. Only a home, and an away.

We're all victims now of margin and profit at Nike, Adidas, etc. Look at our 3rd strip. Yeah, just change the Hearts badge to blue and yellow, it'll save a penny a strip avoiding having to use another colour.

Irony is, even accounting for inflation, they're dearer than they were before.

Personally. Not sure why clubs like us and Hibs even use a manufacturer like Adidas or Nike at all. Fair enough Rangers and Celtic with global reach. But what are the 3 of us selling each year, a few thousand, all locally, then giving away margin, for their shit strips.

Design our own strips, with fans input, improve quality. Keep ALL sales revenue. Only sell from the club. Bet we'd all hit record sales. Do I hear a hell yeah?
