St.Johnstones, disgusting. Killie away ? Worst strip I've ever seen (apart from our 95 away one, which I'm wearing as I speak) BBC site says: "Dundee United will also be holding 40th anniversary celebrations next season as they celebrate winning the league in 1983 under the legendary Jim McLean. Back then, Dundee United and Aberdeen always wore home strips against each other. These days one usually has their away top on. But with both wearing 1983 tribute kits this season, surely for old times' sake at least one New Firm clash has to be tangerine v red." How long has it been since we played each other in home colours? Link to comment

They’ve managed to do so for other Adidas kits (the Tims for example). What’s their excuse for not providing ours? The kits are signed off & agreed 12 months in advance. Is it anything to do with late notification of sponsors maybe? It's to do with club status maybe. We're probably well down the pecking order as far as getting orders out are concerned. 6 hours ago, Dynamo said: Presume we'll have to wear last season's home kit against the Tims on Sunday then? 5 hours ago, RUL said: Doubt they’d do that down to sponsorship? I heard they have the home shirts here. Dunno if that's true mind... Surely we could just utilise last season shorts and socks?? Or wear home shirt with away shorts and socks. Link to comment

My concern was that if addidas can't supply our red kit, which has presumably been on order for some months now, we may struggle to come up with another one in time. I have a feeling (and it is no more than that), that we are contractually bound to wear certain a certain kit over a given contractual period and not beyond it. In which case we couldn't just get last season's kit out of the back of the drawer. Still, we're probably worrying about nothing. Link to comment
