A lot of NHS staff have just had the quietest year of their lives I would think,  only a small % work in ICU or covid wards.  I don't see how a well above inflation rise across the board is warranted when so many others in different sectors will be fucked.

Come on now, all that self-regarding self-pity and making those dancing videos on tic-toc is really tiring.

The NHS is 80% female, which is why its so self-regarding, greedy, needy for praise and mediocre.

Sturgeon in full election mode trying to buy votes.

Just announced a 4% pay rise for NHS staff.

Exactly right.

Buying votes with UK money, while hiding an OECD education report (about their own performance) until after the election.

A child could see through them, but gullible Scots are like "vote fur the pure SNP byraway".

No-one ever went out of business through underestimating the Scots, that's for sure.

Of course it's political but in the scheme of things it's hardly a scandal to be offering a 4% increase to NHS staff. Governments do this sort of thing all the time before elections begin.

37 billion to fund track and trace though with no idea of where the money has gone? That's almost the entire annual budget of the NHS. There's your scandal...

I see Anas Sarwar has not waited long before making an ass of himself.

When asked about his - the labour party leader - family business not paying the living wage, he has suggested that this scrutiny is racism.

What a clown.

The automatic reaction of asian politicians to claim everything is racism is absurd.  Remember humza yousef claimed a joke about a burqa was racist.  These oafs totally cheapen politics.

At least it is clear that for Sarwar the labour party only represents a means of having power, not principles of any kind.  Just like Sturgeon and the SNP. And indeed the un-conservative tories.  All the party identities are pretty hollow, full of mediocre graduates hiding from the real world.

Interesting quote here from Blackford :

"He has been an increasing embarrassment to many in the SNP and his departure is somewhat of a relief.

On Mcaskill who has fucked off to Salmond's party.
Wasn't an embarrassment when they were all backing him to the hilt over his breaking of covid restrictions...hypocrisy much.

Some brass neck on that obese windbag ?

His “judged by a higher power” line when he let the Lockerbie bomber off should have been enough to see him never elected again.

Scotland though.
