Brown is a very decent captain. Joe Lewis should have been stripped of all captaincy roles and will look absolutely ridiculous next season not only in that new goalkeeping strip but acting out this club captain role.

It would have been ridiculous if we'd signed a guy who captained Hibs at 18, then Celtic and Scotland but made one of our lot from last season captain instead.

If Brown is team captain and Lewis is club captain, and it is okay for different types of captains to work in the same squad, then perhaps our other senior players can also be captains. We just need to find appropriate captain titles for them so everyone can be captain.

What is the community burden these days? Do they still go around schools etc? I’ve never heard of the captain doing anything, especially in the COVID era

The ship only needs one captain.  Lewis should never have been made Captain.  Mcinnes to fault on that one. (A Bribe.). A sweetener  what ever you want to call it.     Brown do your stuff and kick ass.
