Hysterical nonsense you say?

Suggest you look at the statistics from November to end of April.

We’re bottom 6 comfortably.

So unless there’s investment that’s where we’ll be.

Yes, hysterical nonsense. You think we will line up with the same players and same attitude next season? That the players underperforming on very good wages can’t be replaced with better?

But yeah, start pishing your pants now I suppose.

Thing is though until we see which players come in during the summer we've got very little evidence to have confidence in how we're going to perform.

I think most would agree we need a clear out.  But that means bringing in a fair few,  getting those decisions right and getting them ready to hit the ground running as a new group in a few weeks.

That's a big ask for anyone.  And especially for a rookie management team.

Far too early to say that we'll definitely be better next season.

Just watched Glass' interview on redTV there. Reading between the lines, he's suggesting the players aren't fit enough yet, to deal with the demands of training and consecutive matches. I think we'll be alright next season.

It does make me wonder what kind of operation was going on before.

Even Cosgrove said his 1st training session with Birmingham was his most intense.

I have see nothing in the games to suggest they practise any free kicks or shooting.

Yep.
he can piss off too.
stupid appointment of an individual with no managerial knowledge or chutzpah. He’s our version of that guy at hearts a couple of years ago. The experiment will end in the same way I predict.

It's too convenient for him to blame that.

We have the third biggest budget in the league, I’ve no doubt we can assemble a side with that budget that’s more than capable of being in the top six. If not then Glass will be gone I reckon. I think we are past the point of top six trophies, McInnes has raised the bar so there can’t really be any excuse to lower it.

Agreed, it sounds like training and fitness has been shoddy at best. There’s been too many alluding to it now for it to be dismissed. You would *hope* Scott Brown would insist on better standards of training etc.

I actually thought the same during the game. There was serious Cathro vibes about how naively he'd set us up and the way he quietly watched the train wreck play out without changing anything

3 games and this is your verdict? Lol

Why not? United looked far fitter and pressed us the whole game. Again, weird that this is all you do.

Nobody is panicking Consi.

Just questioning whether he made the right calls today as manager during the game.

Which I think it's fair to say he didn't.

That’s a good summary. I would add that setting  them up like he did, given their technical inability to play the way he wants them to, was also a little naive. You can only piss with the cock you’ve got and these cocks clearly need Viagra just to take a piss...

doesn’t explain the complete lack of motivation though. I accept that a lot will be gone, but by and large it’s the same ones that showed heart and motivation in the 2nd half against Livi and the whole Celtic game.

The fatigue point is a fucking joke...

I mean, we've had a manager previously who had a usual excuse book. Glass being up front and saying that his methods have caused tiredness, resulting in this defeat, is fairly up front and honest.

He's got a free hit now, nothing on the line, really.

Glass has inherited a poor, unfit group of players. That said, it was naive to expose Hoban and Considine by playing the full backs so far forward. The players deserve criticism, but we also need to recognise that Glass is a rookie manager and will be found out from time to time. How quickly he learns on the job will determine how successful he will be.

Glass cannot be blamed for this surely, he more or less said this mob isn't fit enough for 3 hard games in a week and that the way he wants to play which is probably similar to how United played cannot be coached in a Fortnight, you cannot legislate for the way the likes of Hayes, Hoban and Considine defended Today and you could also see exactly why he wants Brown in there

In that case was it not better resting some players against Celtic and prioritize the Scottish Cup?

Are we now aspiring to play like Dundee United? What a time to be alive.

Then what, get skelped 0-3 at home to Celtic and everyone cries "nothings changed!"

Anyone judging Glass ability to manage the club based off of today, is an idiot. Fair enough, question some decisions he makes in the 90 mins etc, but comparing him to Cathro after 3 games, is moronic in the extreme.

There'll be around 10 out and 10 in over the summer, take stock where we are come January, and see what like.

Brown coming in will raise the standards, that have obviously been at mediocre levels for a while now.

The players, for once, have to shoulder the blame for todays result,

Graham Rix?

I don't think Glass is a paedo.

Mental folk are blaming Glass. Wednesday was encouraging but today went to pot. This will happen when he doesn’t have his team.

True... I've been against Glass' appointment since day 1, and remain firmly so... but the shite at his disposal makes it impossible to judge him until we have a Stephen Glass team.

The problem there is that no-one has any idea what a Stephen Glass team is like.

Id have happily taken a 3-0 skelping in a meaningless league game if it meant winning today

The “experiment” may well end that way.... but FFS can’t we give him next season to find out once he has his team in place?

He’s been left a shitshow by McInnes.

Didn’t Mcinnes clear out about 13 players or something when he came to the club?

Were people as hysterical then as they are now? I can’t remember.

In fairness we’d had years of this shite at that point. McInnes raised the standards but has left a shit show.
