I think it's because we know the script.  3rd qualifying round,  meet someone with anything about them and we're out. Plus the covid nonsense.

QR3 might not even be achieved this year.
It’s not often we play teams at QR2 who have players at the Euros.

Could be tricky, especially as it’s our first game & they’re mid-season.

It’s probably comparable to the Viking Stavanger tie last season ?

That’s it. A couple nothing games, lose as soon as we come up against anyone decent (sometimes worse than decent) and that’s it all over until next year.

It doesn’t look as though the standard of opposition has been diluted by a 3rd competition.

True, all the seeded teams were famiiar names from the Europa League of the last 5 years. Just hope we can get a better starting 11 together than what we had last summer.

Dunno man, look at who Hibs got. Fourth in the Gibraltar league or third in the Andorra league.
pub teams.

Aye, true, there was shite in the Europa too though.

We’ve seen a couple. Daugava Riga & that mob that made Jon Gallagher look like the new Strachan.

But there doesn’t seem to be much or any difference from the Europa

When you look at it, the Europa League do not have the earlier qualifier rounds, so effectively leaving the Europa league to higher ranked nations and CL dropouts.

The ECL is effectively a second Europa League to give the lower ranked teams a shotty in the qualifiers before being swamped with CL and El drop-outs

Fucking joke when Hamdump was 25% full on Monday.

Another 5 weeks down the line, it should be more than 25%

And none of this pointless 300 shite either.

Looked like a full house in Budapest yesterday.  I hate this country,  run by middle aged woman with no interest in sport.

It was. Looked superb

She was feigning interest on Monday and luckily enough there was a camera there to capture it. Not stage managed in the slightest ?

Absolute joke if true, even Dundee and Killie got fans in for their play off. If they don't let fans attend in August we may have another frustrating season Fan wise

We had a very successful pilot scheme back in September when 300 supporters were allowed into Pittodrie to see us beat Kilmarnock. The same scheme happened on the same day up in Dingwall.

No supporter contracted the plague, let alone was hospitalised or died from it, but still we aren't even closer to determining when any club supporters can return to the grounds, although if you are a tartan army footsoldier you are immune to this ban for some made-up reason.

It's a fucking joke and a fucking embarrassment watching your nation's leaders being completely and utterly out of their depths trying to deal with the situation at hand.

The Hungarian government have got the right attitude. It was great to see a full capacity of passionate and genuine football supporters in a stadium when Hungary played Portugal a couple of days ago.

Considering Hungary is a landlocked country, you would have thought its natives have a far greater chance of contracting the bug rather that inhabitants of an island nation.
