Potential Spurs tie as the glamour draw but realistically any of the other 3 preferable in terms of progressing (IF we get past Briedablik). TNS/Viktoria Plzen probably the one we want.

For me the most winnable tie is Qarabag, and the most likely upset in QR3 is for Limassol to go through. We'd have a decent chance against either.

Hacken wasn't the easiest of draws, but Breidablik in QR3 and Limassol / Qarabag in the PO rounds is probably the best we could have hoped for in terms of lowest seeds

Agreed, but the path to the group stages is there.  I guess this is where Glass can prove he is a better option than McInnes.

AEL not to be confused with Apollon - they share the same stadium though.

That path is such that I could live with three or four points being dropped in the early league games if we were resting players etc.  Risk and reward.  The risk isnt huge and the rewards are obvious.

But of course I'll equally take wins on all fronts.
