Don't recall you saying that about McInnes's judgement when the loans of Burns, McLaughlin, Monakana, Vyner, Ball, Nwakali, Wilson and Stewart all failed and at those times Mcinnes was extremely experienced in management. jamiesd
Yes have to agree, if he took them in he’s fair getting rid of them sharpish as they are dung. Kudos for that. Hopefully McGinn and Mclennan follow and Hedges Link to comment

I think it does in a way , he has now assessed them found no benefit from their performances and value to the team and subsequently returned them to parent clubs whilst they didn’t work out like all signings you don’t fully know what you’ve got till they play attitude , determination, and application usually defines a successful player 1 Link to comment

The summer window was a first for Glass and our new head of football recruitment, a lot of people are getting far too worked up and coming in with ridiculous kneejerk reactions. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
Folk absolutely destroyed McInnes' transfers from the Gleeson and Forrester window onwards (with the exception of Ferguson). And quite right too. Link to comment

Nothing to do with Mcinnes min. He signed a load of shite his last 2 seasons. We're just wanting better quality from the current incumbents. Two totally separate things. 1 Link to comment

It's a dig at fans who were mainly quiet through those signings though and now very vocal declaring anything and everything as shit, it's unhinged. Link to comment

Surely the head of recruitment who joined at the end of July did not have much influence on the summer transfers as there were only three weeks left? Link to comment

Now we've signed another midfielder so why do we need the loan players? Link to comment

If course it does. If they were good they wouldn’t be getting sent back 5 months early. They’re not good As it turns out, it’s just the two being sent back. Dave Cormack has slaughtered the Ingolffson character on Twitter saying he’s talking shite. Link to comment

RED_JOHN
I think Davie Cormack is in the huff with mainstandmoan/Ingolffson. I think he’s had a bit of a heated phone call from the big guns at Brighton and decided to panic and keep the lad here for a bit longer. He should have been send down the road with Samuels and Longstaff. The truth is we don’t need Jenks. Link to comment
Don_Corleone
Can't believe we're going to have to suffer another 6 months of Jenks. "Emerging talent" - aye, right. The guy is going to end up playing most of his career in the lower leagues in England. He's got no outstanding attributes and isn't even a decent "all-rounder" as a midfield player. Fair play to the boy if he proves me wrong, but I really hope he's not going to be playing more regularly in the second half of the season as the replacement for Hedges or Ferguson if they leave. 1 Link to comment
anderson72
Its still too early to say if Jenks is a success or not. He may not be settled yet or adjusted to the team play. Time will tell, a bit of faith. 1 Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Maybe they just don’t want him back. Like celtic rgds Griffiths Cormack just trying to save face. Jenks has been the best of a really shit bunch of loans no doubt so thankfully we have at least gotten rid of the two worst. Dante will most likely keep Jenks appearances to a minimum as he adjusts to pro/Scottish football. Link to comment
Dave Bus
Very overloaded in central midfield if we’ve got Ferguson, brown, Jenks, mcgeouch, ojo, Campbell, polvara, mcgrath? In there Link to comment
Betty Swallicks
The game in Scotland is completely different to what he's been used to at Brighton but Jenks is getting better and he maybe has a future up here............... albeit with Poodz. Link to comment

For all the belittling the Scottish game gets, if he makes an impression up here then his overall game will be far superior when he first joined us. Looking at the success of the best players in the EPL, especially Scottish exports, they all have a level of tenaciousness, great work ethic and a lot of humility. Humble, hard working, snap into tackles and run their socks off, but also technically very good. Apart from being technically good, Jenks is lacking the other attributes. So, if he absorbs more of the Scottish game, he’ll return a far better player and be superior to his colleagues who are lacking the hunger and bite. It’s up to Jenks, and having someone like Scott Brown to learn from, he’ll never get a better chance to fix his game. Link to comment

Who cares about his future football ability…it’s his future with this Poodz that has caught my attention. Do I need to buy a gift for their future wedding? 1 Link to comment
