Why can't they offer both?  The amount of people using cards would speed up the process and still allow people who want to use cash to do so. 

Or they could have a couple of tills which were cash only?

I could be wrong but he didn't say they were doing away with cash only that they were introducing a card system. they may well have both

They will be accepting cash for a few months while EPOS is phased in then no cash.

I have put my grandkids to games with cash now it will have to be highland league

UK is much more card friendly than most of Europe where cash is king.

Cash/black economies is the norm in the "poorer" countries of Europe.

Paid in cash = nae paying tax = hardly use cards.

As for card only at Pittodrie, can't see it being a problem myself unless we start attracting loads of Greeks, Italians, Spanish and I doubt they'll be after a 3 quid pie.

or people without cards

or visitors to Aberdeen who have exchanged their euros to £

 

Aberdeen need to remember they are a Scottish club this is not the super-bowl

the food will suddenly get much more expensive now as they Americanise it.
