Not really thought about charcoal tbh

Make sure the charcoal is whole wood and nae the briquette things or full of chemicals. Booker cash n carry has some decent stuff that’s good value. Used to be a big blue bag but nae bought it for awhile. Chuck in some wood chips or lumps o whole hard or fruit wood. 
 

Quite a few decent rubs you can buy these days if you can’t be fucked making your own. You got a thermapen etc for checking the temp?

Aye man got all that bollocks. Just used some of the coconut stuff tonight. Did some monkfish and tomatoes.
