They made a cunt of it a few years back. It's most suitable for athletics. For music and football it is god-awful. The roof structure looks like a pile of rusting metal and the sloped stands are just pish.

Got myself one of them smoker barbecue things. Got some fish to do to start with coz time is tight today but if I get a decent day at the weekend I'm going to try some pork.

Shoulder? Ribs? 

Fit kind of smoker is it? Best place to get charcoal is the "restaurant" quality stuff fae a cash and carry.

Just one of the one's with a side chamber. Wife's ordered a long cut of pork shoulder. Butchers preparing it and she's going to brine it.

Not really thought about charcoal tbh

Make sure the charcoal is whole wood and nae the briquette things or full of chemicals. Booker cash n carry has some decent stuff that’s good value. Used to be a big blue bag but nae bought it for awhile. Chuck in some wood chips or lumps o whole hard or fruit wood. 
 

Quite a few decent rubs you can buy these days if you can’t be fucked making your own. You got a thermapen etc for checking the temp?

The charcoal was made from coconuts you pud. Was time limited so couldn't really do any meat.
