If you hold a cat by its front legs they just keep growing longer and longer, like a slinky spring.....

In Birmingham, what a fucking shithole of a place. How come in 2021 in the modern world do we still have 6 foot high piles on binbags on the street.

I know the answer tbf

I dont think they're fully to blame.

Bangladeshi, afghani, Romanian and Somalians need to shoulder some of the blame.

From Black Sabbath to this......an absolute travesty.

Hard working industrial people thru the ages to a mish mash of lazy drug dealing immigrants who seem to have an endless supply of used mattresses and sofas to leave in the street.

I've got family in Birmingham, visited them for the first time in a few years in the summer there. Their street looked totally different, apparently cunts are buying houses, knocking them down then rebuilding big huge things with no gardens. Generally ethnic types.

Strange place.

Never been to Brummie

Was supposed to see Interpol there a few year back, but my flight was cancelled due to snow (not the rapper)

Not a place I know well so unable to offer an opinion. The M6 toll was a great idea though so you can spend as little time as possible near the shithole.

My auld man used to take me down to the Motor Show at the NEC in the mid 80s.

Piles of fancy cars with bikini clad gyrating sluts enticing you over and loads of those fluffy things with the manufacturers ribbon to collect.

Thats about my only Birmingham related story.

It was always where you got stuck in traffic if you were bombing south.

Its the sort of place you feel like you never need to visit.

What you up to @Poodler

Last time I went to Birmingham we didn’t get in any decent bars cause there are undercover plod doing loops of the streets reporting any ‘trouble’ to the bouncers.

Got my lip split by a big black girl that same night. Not been back since.

I’ve been a few times it’s a hoot -  basically think of going to Pittodrie and having to watch the horrendous pish on offer but you can get beer

Then when someone asks you the score the next day you can honestly say I have absolutely no idea

Moving on up here.

2 buses full of Afghan refugees arrived in Aberdeen on Friday.

104 in total.

Hardly mentioned in the media.

There are unsold plots at Dubford and Chapelton which are being converted and transferred to the LA housing depts. They’ll be used to accommodate some of the families, but initially they’ll be supported in city centre hotels.

Council are arranging housing for them.

Probably need about 40 houses.I think in some cases 2 houses are to knocked into a bigger house.

All will be decorated and furnished.

Maybe 60/70 kids need a school place.

All need doctors,dentists,social workers etc.

Adds up to hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Not quite. Probably 20-25. A couple of units to be specially adapted for disabled access etc.

By local firms, supporting jobs and the economy.
Maybe some of the children who receive an education will one day take up the shortfall in critical services. Sounds like a good investment.
