Apparently Liverpool are holing out for the fee they want from Bayern for Sane and aren’t satisfied with what Bayern have offered. On Twitter, Liverpool fans are saying “quite right, if they want him, they need to pay what we feel he’s worth. They’re then also saying that Aberdeen are out of order by not accepting the fee Liverpool have offered. Obviously not appreciating the irony here between the two situations.

Sorry I should have said Mane, not Sane.

Ha ha how is it pish?  How are we determining up front what the sell on % is?

It'll be add ons plus a sell on %, the sell on % won't be included in the "plus £5 million in add ons"

That's fuck all like you said in your earlier post

Add ons won't include a sell on clause unless someone has a crystal ball and can see how much Liverpool are going to sell him for in future, if at all.

It'll be appearances, international caps, champions league wins etc

Bayern tried a strange one with Liverpool for Mane recently. He needed to win the Balon D'Or 3 years running, which is ridiculous. Liverpool rightly told them to fuck off.

Add on's can surely be literally anything at all as long as the clubs agree to it? Obviously they will always be football related, but technically speaking do they have to be?

Hopefully whatever is agreed is actually achievable.

Extra £1 million if he fucks a supermodel UTA

there absolutely will be a sell on clause because one outcome we'll be envisaging is that he does not break through but moves to a championship club in 2-3 years. We'll surely be arguing the percentage is against all the sale price and not the profit price given its realistic he moves for £5m again in the future

Gunner will be shit at attracting players but he will be the boy on this.

Can even go to the nth degree and say like if he goes to a uefa top100 club we accept its only percentage of profit but if he moves to a 'small' club we want a bigger chunk

Neco Williams is going to go for between £10m and £15m

Meltdowns incoming if its confirmed as £4m upfront with £2m 'add ons'

I mean, it all depends on what he goes on to do.

I suspect we'll be spewing in a few years at the amount we've caved to.

Who the fuck is negotiating if we can get them to pay 4 but not 6?

Like a bag of chips to them.

Shite.

Useless bastards.

I said earlier that there is a critical balance where we don’t want to lose the deal but £4m plus potentially £2.5 is not it.

Fucking peanuts for Liverpool. English fitba can fuck right off

They only paid 5m for a talented teenager from Fulham though, so it's the going rate

I’m amazed folk care that much about the fee.

Great work by the youth department.

At the end of the day, it’s all accountancy bollocks anyway, so as long as Goodwin gets a decent slice of the Ramsay pie to spend on transfer fees and wages, job done.

Thats the £2m per season overspend accounted for, for this and last season. It’s the model the club have put in place

Might be the difference in another 2/3 good players for us.

Of course it matters.

Yeah but the financial people at the club will have got the money they wanted and what Liverpool were willing to pay. Literally discussing things that none of us have any clue at all about.

Yep hopefully between Ramsay and McKenna we are covered off for last season and this season, and can even increase the budget further on the presumption we will take in another 1-2 fees in next 24 months

It’s all about potential with Ramsay. He is not that good a defender and nobody knows how he will progress. There didn’t appear to be a group of clubs chasing him so maybe this is the best deal we could get.

If we end up getting the add ons, it’s not as bad as some are saying.

Course we've got a clue on the rough value of players.

If Patterson went for 12 million plus add ons, does that mean he's 3 times the player of Ramsay?

I understand it's not as simple as that, but 4 million feels short.
