Taverner is great going forward and fantastic at set pieces. I have my doubts about his defending however due to him playing here in Scotland,  he'll rarely get tested at the back. 

He's definitely a good player for the SPFL

I fucking loved Kevin McNaughton. The way we play now puts a lot of emphasis on the full backs but I've been really impressed with Glass up until now so trust he'll manage the lad in the right way.

McNaughton was an excellent player, who probably would have flourished more under different management, he was consistently player of the year award winner at Cardiff,

His Scotland career was cruelly curtailed by that debut against France when he was hung out to dry by the weegie media

Ramsey plays the game like he’s 26 or so, he’s got a very bright future ahead of him.Brilliant young player already.

 

Brave decision from Glass but a very good one, already first pick and will take some shifting and Gurr is nae the man for that.

Yet somehow Scot Gemmill doesn't want to pick him for Under-21's as said he should play for Under-19's first as he wouldn't get on the bench for current squad. The same squad he has apparently made several changes to already anyway. Guaranteed if he played for one of the arse cheeks he'd instantly have been put in the squad after 1 game. Same as McKenzie. Both should 100% be in the squad.

Yes from a selfish point of view we wouldn't want them to go as don't want to see them potentially injured especially with our current situation but doesn't exactly send them the right message imo.

Just looked at the squad, most of those boys aren't even playing for their respective clubs I'm pretty sure. The guy Kelly for the tribute act has been called up after coming off the bench in midweek. And there we have it ??‍♂️

It makes no sense. Ramsay is better than O’Donnell. Has Patterson started a game this season?  As someone mentioned earlier, if the West Ham lad is better than Ramsay then he should be in the senior squad. Arguably he should be fighting it out with Ramsay to get in the starting eleven.

Perspective: Ramsay now > Tavernier at the same age.

Whether he improves/sustains ability-wise, time will tell.

Haven't seen enough of Patterson, other then The Batman trailer to comment.

There thing going against Ramsey at the moment is that he's not had a long run of games. We're in August and this is his first season as a starter.

I recall someone on here being pretty scathing about Gemmil's management ability. Anyone itk and able to comment?

If he played for one of them he'd be in the full squad never mind the U21 squad. He'd be getting valued at £15m already.

I've not seen much of the boy Paterson, so I don't know whether he is better than Ramsay, but Ramsay (so far this season) has been better than I've ever seen O'Donnell play.
