RED_JOHN 109 Posted August 1, 2021 Christian Ramirez will be the goal king of Scotland this season. His strikes are going to win us this league. 1 Share this post Link to post

WesthillWanderersFC 1,127 Posted August 1, 2021 Love the fact both his goals have been in the 6 yard box, we’ve missed a poacher. Rooneyesque, but works harder & better at holding the ball up. Share this post Link to post
Tord31 779 Posted August 1, 2021 It's so important for a striker to get off and running before it becomes a thing. Ace he's on 2 out of 3 now. Fingers crossed JET can join him before too long, and before him not scoring becomes a thing. Simple goals but delighted with Ramirez so far. Share this post Link to post
Parklife 950 Posted August 1, 2021 He really keeps defenders on their toes with his constant running in behind. Really like the look of him so far. Share this post Link to post
Studebaker-90 902 Posted August 1, 2021 He’s a great addition. Really high hopes for him. Share this post Link to post

Jet will be a frustrating player, 1 goal in 5 and possibly 1 good game in 5 based on his last 2 performances. Share this post Link to post
Zeus 1,367 Posted August 1, 2021 He's a fucking hero and future hun slayer. CR9 Share this post Link to post
torry_battery_ram 134 Posted August 1, 2021 Thought some of his positional play could have been better today but I'm nitpicking. 2 goals in 3 games is a decent start as he will take time to adapt to the Scottish game. Share this post Link to post
Clydeside_Sheep 233 Posted August 3, 2021 Who was the last Dons striker to make such an immediate, encouraging start? Surely it couldn't be Duncan Shearer, with 2 debut goals v hibs in '92? Could it? I just remember a long line of strikers who couldn't kick their own arse, but I must have forgotten someone (?). Cosgrove turned out well - but he was a slow burn who took time to get going. Bournemouth Gee 110 Posted August 3, 2021 To be mentioned together with Shearer already shows his impact on the team. Duncan Shearer what a legend. Share this post Link to post
Studebaker-90 902 Posted August 3, 2021 (edited) Rooney scored in his debut vs motherwell and then again in the cup semi against st Johnstone in the next game. He also assisted Hayes for the opener iirc. edit just checked wiki. 6 goals in his first 8 games. He will do well to beat that. Edited August 3, 2021 by Studebaker-90 1 Share this post Link to post

Tord31 779 Posted August 3, 2021 It's very encouraging so far though. He looks good for 20 goals hopefully. Share this post Link to post
dazzy_deff 1,119 Posted August 3, 2021 Simon Church hit the ground running - winner against Celtic on his debut iirc. Share this post Link to post

Andy_123 442 Posted August 3, 2021 We look like we'll be creating plenty chances for him this season. If he can stay near Rooney's goals to games ratio, he'll be a big success. Share this post Link to post
DelMonte 1,363 Posted August 3, 2021 Hopefully he can actually play football unlike Rooney. Share this post Link to post

Rooney in his last few years could hardly control the ball and that’s why he’s ended up where he has. Share this post Link to post
