Don’t think he’s coming and going as he pleases, the club and manager told him he could leave early and come back late. Who wouldn’t do the same in those circumstances?

I would hope anyone with respect for the company they work for or, especially,  the colleagues they work with.

There is no doubt Ramirez wasn't contributing a lot in the second half of the season, that's indisputable. There's debate to be had as to why (and its been debated here plenty already), could be fatigue, loss of general form, lack of supply, he's actually shite, family issues, shithousery, etc etc etc. We can speculate, argue and bicker as much as we want. The fact of the matter remains though, that he's contracted to us and if he does actually return, pulls on the strip and is selected, he'll have my support.

Do I want better? Of course. But I know he's capable of scoring goals and if the club can't provide the platform for him to do that, sign a better alternative or a youngster steps up, then what else is there for it.

With the squad overhaul going on and the players coming in and potentially coming in, I was hopeful of a more sustained season from him. But he's probably made his feelings known that he wants to leave and would have no intention of extending even if we wanted to.
