Qarabag are a champs league team, certainly europa Who else has outclassed him? He also shouldn't be playing every single week but us forced to Share this post Link to post
aberdeen1970 2,407 Posted September 30, 2021 Aye he can't do it himself. If he had midfielders ahead of him who could do their jobs properly then we'd be a better team. But as everyone has said to death we don't have the right mix of midfield players Share this post Link to post
Zander1903 127 Posted October 21, 2021 Started well but my take is he starting to get fed up already when he signed i half expected to see him kicking the arse out of our players who are under performing Share this post Link to post
Ke1t 4,163 Posted October 21, 2021 Brown remains one of our best players and the only leader we have on or off the park. He's struggling right now, but his passing and tackling remain first rate, and his distribution is probably the best we have. He doesn't need dropped or rested, he needs 10 team mates with his work ethic and ability. Share this post Link to post

But there is a heavy schedule thereafter from late November all through December and by the time the Xmas period is on us he might well need a week off. Celtic did it a few times last season and he's now another year older. It's not as if we don't have a lot of options in midfield to facilitate this if required. It'll be interesting to see how he does and what leadership he shows against sevco next week. Most of us are expecting a total horsing. It's a situation that will be totally alien to him. Not sure how 'best tackler' can be quantified outside of who does the most vs success rate... but Cormack loves a stat. I do know he weighs in with some critical tackles, and never fannies out of a challenge, something in short supply at Aberdeen in recent years, but I doubt there's a No Fannying Out criteria when it comes to making a stat out of tackling. RED_JOHN 109 Posted November 1, 2021 Scott Brown has been a terrific signing for Aberdeen. We need more of his type here if we want to win things. Share this post Link to post
Bamber 260 Posted February 13 (edited) His is 36 years of age it’s brilliant he can still pull on boots but should be loooking at the coach bit of player coach and see what he can influence from the sideline our teenage players should be listening to the elders wise words not be playing with dad - they can do that at home his influence is about 1 in 5 and most of those were at the start of the season - he could influence more in the training pitch. RED_JOHN 109 Posted February 13 Brown and Ramirez are the least of our worries. Fans should focus their energy in getting rid of Glass, Gunn and Cormack. Those 3 are ultimately responsible for where we are as a club. Share this post Link to post
Big Hat Logan 389 Posted February 13 Yeah so I’m back to the opinion that this is not a good signing and starting to wonder if theres issues between him and Glass. Share this post Link to post
sooth_stander 391 Posted February 13 With Glass now sacked, will Brown follow him out the door? Share this post Link to post
