Think I saw you hanging around Ann Summers shop on Princes Street the other day.

Ha. Fair play to the lad. Might look awkward standing on your own outside an Ann Summers store dressed head to toe in pink. But. Bend one leg up against the wall. All of a sudden you're cool and disinterested. Nothing to see here.

Need to rest players on Sunday, Thursday's game is too important to risk fatigue/injuries. I'll take a draw in this one, but if somebody offered me a loss on Sunday and win on Thursday I would bite their hand off.  Only downside of a loss is those cunts will think they are actually good.

If we get through Thursday Cormack will have to adjust the budget in order for us to bring in 3 or 4 more players, 2 CB's and 2 attackers, can live with the midfielders.

No choice about McCrorie and Gallagher.

Need to save Hayes for Thursday so certainly not 90 for him.

Ojo should be a sub next thursday so ok to start here and subbed off.

Personally I would start one of Brown/Ferguson and swap them at half time.

90 mins for McGinn, McGeouch, Gurr and Jenks is stick on.

Even ignoring the fact that we have an absolutely huge game next Thursday and have just returned from playing a game in stifling heat in Azerbaijan this morning in recent years these fixtures have tended to go the way of the home side. From memory I don't think we've won at Tynecastle since 2017 and they haven't won at Pittodrie since 2016. Tynecastle historically has been our toughest away fixture domestically outside of the Glasgow ugly sisters. This would still be a very tough fixture even if we'd been knocked out of europe in the last round and so could go into it fresh with a first choice XI.

No way can Glass play a full strength team on Sunday next Thursday has way too much importance financially. We can recover from an early season league defeat it won't hurt us too much losing on Thursday will hurt us much more.

2-0 Hearts.

I would want to be a winner in every game.   Too much powder puff bull shit going on with I would except a defeat to hearts.  Well the powder puffs got their wish last week Raith 2 —-Dons 1.

Glass could rest half the team again against hearts and still get beat on Thursday.  What Then Powder Puffs.

2-0 Hearts.

Rangers and Celtic have played games in Europe in many shit hot countries over the years and still won their games 3 days later, so don’t make excuses up for poor old Aberdeen players who are supposed to be trained like professional athletes,  if not then get a a team in that can handle 2 games a week.

They've been rotating their players also so not sure this is the argument you think it is.

Looking forward to this one. Hearts is my favourite away day and I miss them when they keep getting relegated. Nice and easy train journey as well. Haven't got a clue what the team will be or who is available but clearly Thursday is more important so expect Glass to pick a team with that in mind.

0-0.

Just pick a strong 11 and sub 3 key players if things going well or badly. Also a guaranteed place in groups of conference next season for third position. its the beginning of the season and we should be able to recover with basically 4 days until the European game. If Ramsey doesn't play we probably loose our most creative player, at least 1 of brown or Ferguson has to start and for me Ramirez also has to start or we have absolutely nothing upfront.

The big difference is that for most of those seasons Rangers and Celtic's second choice XI's were stronger than the other clubs in the league first choice XI. The huns' current second choice XI is stronger than our first choice XI.

There's no point Glass taking any major risks on Sunday next Thursday is far too important  financially. If we get through against Qarabag for sure we need to bring in at least 3 or 4 good quality players before the end of the window to cope with group stage football. I'm sure that will have been discussed between Cormack and the management team.

Terrible patter name for the thread unless you're in P4.

Anyway. Let me get this in first. Cos it would be something I'd moan about. Your squad shouldn't be coming back into the wee hours Friday, given how hard travel is now, to face an away tie at Tynie 48 hours later. That's poor and it'd annoy me the other way.

Looking forward to this one. Will be a measure of how we're going to finish this season. And glad you have tickets, welcome back Scottish football.

I don't think it will be a measure. A lot of positives are lining up for you guys for this game.

I can see Hearts winning this one, but can also then seem them below us come the year end.

I think you'll finish 5th this year. If you do win on Sunday, will that cement a top three in your opinion?

Top three will cement top three. 3rd should be our MINIMUM target. But tbf. I'd expect Aberdeen and Hibs to be the same.

Only Budge says top half.

I said I won't make a judgement until we've played Aberdeen H Utd A Hibs H. Then I'll have a sense of our season ahead.

As above I won't judge Aberdeen by any Hearts win in the middle of your Euro stuff. But. You do have the 3rd biggest salary bill in Scotland so let's not get too sympathetic. Brown has been doing this his whole career at Celtic.

Your still being delusional with that set of games.

You've had a good start, helped with the run of games and teams situations at the start of the season.

Its a long way to go though and having only played your main rivals at home is delirious if you think that sets a foresight into how well you will do over a season.

Hearts are predominantly good at home, on a small tight pitch where they can get away with hammer thrower fouls and get back behind the ball is not an indicator. I see you also are benefiting with Bobby MadHun as the ref in a few of these games as well.

We'll probably lose on Sunday given we have more important game coming up, but it would not be unbeknown for Hearts to 'Hibs' it in the rest of the league campaign

Just to clarify - I’m not saying that’s the team we should play, I’m just saying that’s the team I think will play given that everyone who played near the full 90 mins in Baku will be utterly goosed. McCrorie and Gallagher will still have to start as we’ve no other options.

The Gurr song goes to the tune of the Hearts song, so please make it happen if you’re there…

Gurr, Gurr, little Jack Gurr

he looks like beaver without the furr

he’s totally useless, he lost us the game

goodbye little beaver it’s time to go hame.

I think our second string team will be enough to get the 3 points at Tynecastle anyway. At the very worst Hearts will score an o.g and we will win 0-1.
The club could make a few quid by pushing the sales of the new away top with Gurr printed on the back and also supplying a false set of beaver teeth. At least it would give us something to laugh about.

I'd mix it up rather than rest too many.

Perm three from 4 from the list below depending on who is freshest.  That way you have a more even quality team throughout 90 minutes rather than an uneven balance.

Brown to start. Ferguson on at half time.

Hayes to start. McKenzie on at half time.

JET to start, Ramirez on at half time.

Ramsay to start. Gurr on at half time.

Would we be surprised if Hancock came in at the back? Would be a risk starting our only fit CBs

Yes I'd be very surprised if McCrorie and Gallagher are fit. If we were going to give him a debut, it would have been in Kirkcaldy in a far less intense atmosphere.

However if either of them are carrying a knock, we may have no other option. I'd rather play him, a specialist CH, than for example, playing MacKenzie there as a fill in measure

You do realise the average weekly wage of an Aberdeen player compared to the average weekly wage of a diet hun is £50 more?

It is literally £50.

Your record at Tynecastle is terrible. By dropping some of your first team and using players from your reserves, yeah, that should be enough to secure the points.
