I thought they had bought him from sevco but actually he was out of contract. Was a strange one there....they took him on a 6 month development loan from Raith in July then handed him an 18 month contract in January when the loan was up.

Seemed to do well initially at Hamburg but they changed managers and the new boss didn't have him in his plans. Loaned to Sheff W and suffered a season ending injury in his first game (not a cruciate for once)

I think he chose to leave the Huns when his contract expired, rather than them freeing him. 

Apart from being a centre half, he was  decent filling in at right back during his time with the Rovers. 

Certainly a more accomplished right back than the boy you had at Stark's Park a couple of weeks ago.

Hopefully he is better in central defence than his old teammate. McCrorie isn’t strong enough and mentally astute to be a good central defender. He’s still young though so has time to change that with the correct coaching.
