Why the fuck Glass cannot see that nothing good will ever come from playing McCrorie in central defence no longer puzzles me. It now worries me.

Presumably Bates has been inactive for so long that he couldn't be relied on to last 90 minutes but ffs his basic fitness would get him through 65-70 minutes and surely that is a better scenario than 90 minutes of McCrorie.

Watkins free header inside the 6 right at their keeper. Miss from Ojo, decent save from a good Ferguson shot.
