He rattled you. It’s ok to admit it. Even if it was because he was indeed useless & that is what triggered you.

my wife is fine thanks. I rattled her last night too

Congratulations.

Doesn't change the fact you created a fake profile to back yourself up in arguments on here. Which does suggest that for some reason you really do give a shit about this forum!

As for Bryson I wasn't angry reading his trolling, just found it amusing that a player whose clearly been effectively a cripple for 3 years was taking some second hand "glory" and satisfaction in his team beating Aberdeen (where he failed miserably).

Ta.

States "booing question"  turns fans against players in headline, and  Glass also states it's the question that is the problem and nae the booing, for which he "understands their frustrations".

I have to withdraw my abuse of Glass on that basis.

Stephen Glass in spiky Aberdeen interview as furious boss claims booing question 'turns fans against players'

But when asked about the booing on BBC Sportsound, Glass wasn't pleased

He said: "I understand their frustration, we're as frustrated as they are as a whole group. Players, staff, everyone.

"They can see what we're trying to do and I think questions like that leads you to turn players against fans, fans against players.

"We're all together and we're all pushing in the same direction."

Embarrassing and pathetic.

Gypit looking manky fuck.

He was treated well by us, both fans and the club.

So also a touch bizarre.

I did think that. Fucking brass neck of the cunt. Was one of our worst players in recent times on a decent wage and he turns around with that reaction. A mark of the man. Thick as fuck or just cunt with a chip on his shoulder, nae sure which one.

That was a miserable affair on Saturday.  Turgid game of football.

I'm starting to have some real concerns about the Dons under Glass.

The tactics are all over the place.  Seems like the Tombola is in full use.  3 strikers starting on Saturday, but two on the wing who don't look very comfortable there.  Samuels at least has the pace to cause problems, but JET offered nothing out on the right side (when he was actually there).

The only natural width comes from our full backs who are offered so little support throughout the game.

I don't like that no matter what centrebacks are available, it seems that McRorie has to fill one of the slots.  He doesn't look comfortable there and yet again had another wayward pass from the back that was lucky not to cost us a goal.

As much as I have enjoyed the contributions from Hayes and McGinn for the Dons over the years, it is a sad state of affairs when that is what we are turning to in the second half to try and do something in the game.  I don't think either have much to offer at the level we want to be any more.

I guess Glass may point to injuries to Hedges and (I assume) Watkins, but we have a large squad this year with 8 players plus that he was involved in brining in.  We should not be looking so clueless in a game against St Johnstone.

Bizarre that May and Bryson are carrying on!  They achieved the square root of fuck all with us, while stealing a handsome wage!  In Byrson's case, money for absolutely nothing! What axe could they possibly have to grind with AFC?

McInnes and Bryson had a few fallouts over the tactics we were playing. McInnes also fucked Bryson's ankle by playing him in one of the early euro ties (Georgia maybe), when he was under doctors orders to not play after the op he had.

McCrorie was easily our best centre half yesterday. Blocked and defended situations more than any of our other players.

Bates was solid enough as well, but surprised to see him beaten in the air a number of times

For me, if available, the CH pairing we play is Bates and McCrorie.

Gallagher is just a liability at the moment

Yesterday was one game where St Johnstone offered very little attacking threat and their one option was lumping it to Kane.  Still, McCrorie managed to pass straight to one of their players for a quick counter attack for the umpteenth this season.  He might be learning but it does seem a shoe-horning in there because of Ramsays emergence at CB and Brown/Ferguson filling his role in the midfield.

As for your comments about McCrorie being part of our best CH pairing, perhaps that is correct. Which is a worrying indictment on what was done there over the summer, as he isn't a very good centreback.

What happens to some players when they join the Dons. Any signs of ability they once had seem to disappear. Do they get complacent and lazy or does the system in operation stifle their creative flair. It seems to happen far too often.

Thing is many seem to suggest he was poor at Motherwell last season. Seems to have lived off of a couple of Scotland backs to the wall performances last year

Aye I'm not a fan of muted celebrations but was quite surprised by that. Considering we spent 400k and he was largely crap I thought Aberdeen fans took pretty well to Stevie May and gave him a lot of support. He's never had a bad reaction when he's been back either.

Bryson never took any stick either but was never really seen in an Aberdeen shirt

That’s Bryson’s fault if he was weak enough to listen to McInnes over medical advice.

He could easily have celebrated properly without going to the stand and aggressively sticking it to the fans. He had 2 years left on his Dons contract when we let him go home to Saints. As far as I can tell we did the cunt a favor.

If available, Andy Considine is the best central defender we have based on performances over the past year or so. Sad state of affairs, but I don't think anyone could argue Gallagher or McCrorie have been better than him, and I'm not sure how much Bates has played in the past year. I'm not a big Considine fan (I think we should be aiming much higher than him if we want to improve) but I really wish he was fit just now - I think we're even lacking his passion as there isn't much of that at the moment.

On Andy Considine, I'd agree. He has been so consistent and when he was fit, was definitely a starter in the team, hence why it was Considine and McCrorie at the start of the season.

He's out of the picture for the foreseeable future now and therefore I had not considered him in my reflection of our CH's. I simply was considering McCrorie, Bates and Gallagher at this time.

Bates may just need game time and a bit behind as a result. He was solid enough on Saturday albeit he won fewer balls in the air than I had expected.

So, in my opinion, of our available CH's, our best pairing is McCrorie and Bates

After looking promising in the early home European games the team looks like it has lost all its creative force.

We need a no10 playing off Ramirez, if JET is that no10 then so be it, but he aint no right-winger, if that's where he was supposed to be playing. I was surprised to see him come back out for the second half and even more surprised when the first substitution was a dull like-for-like replacement Hayes for Samuels when Samuels looked like one of the few capable of unpicking the lock (maybe he had a knock, for which we can maybe give benefit of the doubt).

St Johnstone's shape meant they did a number on our full-backs; namely their high wing-backs pegged back Ramsay & Mackenzie as an attacking force. The flip-side to that is that we should have been able to get balls into the gaps behind them and stretch their back three; it worked on a few occasions with Samuels.  But on a number of occasions, first half especially while we were on top, we were very sloppy on the attack, taking heavy touches, overhitting passes, giving away cheap offsides.  You can't do that at this level.

For me, if Bates is still on the pitch, he closes down the shot and May doesn't score.  That is the one positive I'll take from Saturday, that Bates looked strong despite not being 100% match fit.  One stray pass aside I thought McCrorie did fine. St Johnstone never really got in behind us all day which makes the avoidable winning goal difficult to take; Lewis looked slow getting down to it.  I don't think Gallagher is good enough for us.  I also think Jack Mackenzie's first touch is going to prevent him having a prolonged career at this level.

I'm not convinced the midfield unit is working. On at least two occasions in second half a second ball fell to a midfielder 25 yds out and a shot was on, but Brown and Ojo on both occasions chose to ping a ball out wide. This smacks of a lack of responsibility.  Lewis Ferguson is not playing particularly well right now but he's one of the few you can't accuse of not trying to take responsibility.  But other than Samuels (& Ramsay) which one of our players right now is going to beat a defender?

The football is too formulaic and looks like that of a rookie manager. I've seen no evidence last few weeks of anything "different" to what got the last manager sacked. So the honeymoon is most definitely over if the manager chooses to live & die by such a statement.

Glass may well ride out this current “blip” (for my money, he won’t) but there will quickly be other bumps on the road ahead.

We’ve all seen the script so many times before. Once you reach a certain low, there is very rarely, if ever, a route back, moreso with inexperienced managers.

A specialist, who works elsewhere? Aye he can. And he did

The player holds the ultimate say so if he says he's fit or not. Even if you are 100% fit, you can say you felt something go/a tightness/ you think you might have a stomach upset/whatever during the warm-up and the club doc will have almost no chance of proving otherwise and so will have no choice but to rule you out from playing

Remember what Mr McLeish did at McDiarmid all those years ago

Apparently a dons fan was giving him shit when he was warming up infront of the main stand. If that is the case can you blame him for the way he celebrated? I'd have done the same to be honest.

If the manager chooses to ignore the player, then what chance does he have. McInnes was fully aware bryson shouldn't have travelled, never mind actually played. bryson was only going to come on in an emergency. McInnes then fired him on after 20 minutes, despite the player's protests...

Just read that some idiot called May a reject as he took to the field on Saturday.

The club need to get rid of those idiots who drag our good name through the dubs. Lifetime bans to the main stand heckler and public apology to Stevie ‘Medals’ May or forever be the yokels of Scotch Footy.
