I thought Bates was decent today.

Better than he has been but that's not hard.

Absolutely.
Costing us £££’s

Then again, the rules are a farce.

COVID won’t touch a crowd of 9999 but it’ll decimate 10,001.

But time for the Dons to do what the other big clubs are doing & just live with the rules & let in as many as possible.

What difference would have playing the 10k card meant? Greater costs for more stewards that’s for sure. We would have to show willing so add another 300 stewards for covid checks probably means need 1-2000 on the gate

Am all for covid checks but should be done at point of sale. As it is it’s a money pit. For no additional safety that I can see keep suggesting below 10k for me

Haven't seen much of them this season, but they've always been feckless thugs.

They've settled into this faster than we have, though.

We're losing the midfield battles.

Not today Ke1tmeister, not today

Are you sure we need 300 extra stewards?

That's an extra steward to check a qr code for every 40 fans based on a crowd of 12000.

More like 30.

Decent second half performance. McGeough was very good as were Brown and Watkins and the rest did their bit. Bates, his passing at times is pish but he played much better today. Two crackin goals and ha ha halliday.

Maybe seeing Bates settle down a bit now, was better than he has been.

McGeouch needs to start from now on, looks tidy on the ball and with corners.  You'd think that when Ramsay is back, Ojo will drop to the bench.  Really couldnt see Glass putting him back in that midfield unless injuries hit again.

Strange that we were happy enough to employ additional stewards for the Covid checks at the Euro games. What’s the difference now?

Im guessing what has happened is Broon's read that post at half time, realised Kelt's right as usual, leading to his epic 2nd half performance.

I require no thanks or recognition... just happy to do my bit.

Imagine being the sub that your team takes on to rally the team and get things going when losing....  Then the only contribution you make is to get sent off.

Imagine being a sub for Hearts, a goal down and they need to chase the game and the manager decides that Andy Halliday is the man to get you back in the game.

Unless you are the sub goalkeeper, you should be thinking about a move to another club or giving up football as a full time profession.

Great result but to be fair to @Ke1t Baniginme gave Ferguson the run around today. He's a quality footballer and won't be there long, impossible to dispossess him.

Halliday got wound up by some sick (funny) chants from the shed.

Needless  to say he's a rodent and deserved his red.

I am really hopeful if we can keep Watkins, Hedges and Ramirez fit. Exciting combo.

Brown Mcgeouch and Ferguson looks to be gelling too.

Great goal by Watkins, but agree Brown was a giant in that second half performance.

Great burst off pace in the 1st half to close down the winger. Didn‚Äôt know he had that. ūüėā. Also looked like had the presence of mind to tell that cunt, haillday that he was a cunt, in the aftermath of the red card.

outstanding performance…:

That the number 6? He was decent in the 1st half, disappeared in the 2nd. Wouldn’t  have said he gave Ferguson the run around at all.

A probable unpopular opinion but I think Ramsay and McKenzie being injured has helped us.

Ramsay is outstanding but being more compact at the back and dominating midfield has worked for us.

Baningime was marking Ferguson for his goal. I think he came out on top.

Fergie was much more up for it today, made a few mistakes but much better from him

Bates currently is a disaster waiting to happen. Hopefully he grows into a more accomplished central defender. Joe Lewis will be hoping the same also.

Watkins by far our best player today.
Brown was very good too, but Watkins just adds a few differing options.

He can take it in, hold up, great feet, skills, brilliant pressing and can run at defences at pace. He makes a massive difference to us going forward

Give it a rest, Bates was very decent today. Part of a defence that meant Lewis had very little to do.

Need to look back as to why Ginelly had so much space at the edge of our box just before half time, but can’t apportion blame until I see it again

I want Bates to do well but he wasn’t very decent. He looked nervous and lacked composure. It’s a learning process for him. He might turn into a good central defender but if a fit Mikey Devlin or Andrew Considine was available he would be easily put onto the bench.

Well that was a damn good day oot. Hertz were just hertz, defend, foul, look for a lucky goal.

First half we were okay, second half we were immense. The energy in the past 3 games has been awesome.
And kudos to us, the fans. Kept behind the team all day.
The bounce on the SS fence beside Hearts looked great and the noise from the Red Shed was loud even from my RDS seat.
Happy days.

There’s at least 3 or 4 times we’ve succeeded with it this season.
