From the highlight reel he looks pretty decent but could he be more of a Ferguson replacement and hopefully still wanting to get McGrath in to replace hedges

Room for them both.   Glass obviously nae happy with the balance of the midfield which is good that he's identified that.

Need to target other parts of the pitch too though.

Somebody put on twitter that Watkins is out for the season. Don't know if it's true or not but he was on crutches with a moon boot on just a couple of weeks ago. If it is the case we definitely need to find an experienced striker. Not a college player this time Glass!

Thats not good , felt we already needed decent back up for Rameriz , plays the full 90 every game

Nothing wrong with taking a punt on some youngsters like this, in the way we've done with other young guys like Michael Ruth from our own leagues. Some will make it - like Ferguson - and others won't - like countless others we've picked up and ended up having to bin.

It's okay making signings like that, in fact it's good, but we also need to sign some guys at the level to replace those who are moving on. We needed to strengthen the starting line up anyway even if we kept hold of Ferguson, Ramsay and Hedges, which seems unlikely.

The standard of opposition in that footage would suggest that college football is no better than the juniors.  He must be magnificent at finding space, either that or the marking is rotten as there is never anyone near him.

Pretty big difference in levels between Gurr's school and his. Georgetown vs The Georgia Typewriters Institute. We just signed the number one rated college footballer. It's good news. NYCFC developed him and just got shafted. Beautiful.

It’s probably on a par with the top 6 in the Highland League or it certainly used to be.
Whether he can make the step up to senior football is another matter.  Hopefully a diamond in the rough though.

Is that not like being the best player in the Highland League?

Will reserve judgement but Jon Gallagher and Gurr signings don't exactly fill you with confidence.

A far cry from signing the likes of Hayes/Shinnie/McLean/Flood - good players from other clubs in the same league.

Why are we pricking about with shite like this? We need proven quality to improve this team - surely the first half of the season showed that the random players who bloated our squad weren’t good enough. Once we get a more competitive starting 11 then we can use some budget for gambles like this.
