Where should we be looking for players?

Certainly not in the richest league structure in the world, where players will be paid above average, leading to below average players being the only players we can afford in our average wage structure.

Absolute shite.

That's not the case though is it?  This guy obviously fits in to our new 'traffic light' system and the club feel that he can deliver for us and be of value.  Just because the top end of English football is saturated and over paid that doesn't mean that there isn't bargains to be found, especially down the divisions.

It's a bit of a lazy generalisation to label anyone from the English L1 or L2 dross. Yes there's plenty of dross there but inevitably some have the ability to step up to the Championship/SPL or higher.

For example, for attacking players goals/assists https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/league-one/top-scorers

But yes def agree that we should be far broader and imaginative in the leagues we track. The american implies we are trying - still waiting for the Atlanta south america link to bear fruit though

It absolutely is the case.

We should be signing 5 or 6 expensive, seasoned professionals, who are proven top quality and will help develop our youth players. Absolute pros, on big money, and the rest of the 11 are home grown youth players at various stages of their careers.

These types of signings are neither quality nor future prospects. They’re bandages to get us through a season, a lucky dip. Just a waste.

Who cares if he’s considered a success because we buy him for 150k and sell him for 500k to slightly better level of lower league English dross in 2 years? Will he have got us any closer to being a better team in Europe or challenging to win the league? No. All that will have happened is a space for a youth prospect will have been taken. A youth prospect who could have the quality to play at the very top, because they will been properly coached and nurtured, right?

What are we actually trying to do as a club?

Lol, the boy is on less than 2k a week, he won't be demanding a huge wage, if he fits in and continues the form he's been in he'll more than justify the expense.

He's a lower league journeyman.  No prospect of him developing or being sold for a profit.  Could be miss or a minor hit but no more. Cheap filler.  A Motherwell or Livingston type signing.

No amount of spin will change that.

Ramirez, Brown, Bates, Gallagher, Watkins fit that description so why the fuck are you crying?  Some folk are ridiculously unreasonable, this also exposes that they know fuck all about football.  There's a good chance this guy joins us and hits the ground running which fills in for the departing Hedges.

Our better players go to the Championship and can cut it at that level.

This guy is 25 and has played the majority of his football at league two or national league level.

He'll be about the level of Ojo.

If we're lucky.

Can you now exclusively reveal that we are interested in Broom?

Ramirez and Brown, yes. The others no. But the plan was good, unfortunately, it gets undermined by these types of signings.

Just because you think you’re ITK at the behest of someone else, don’t overreach your own abilities, or underestimate others. At best, you’re a sweetie wife. You repeat what someone says.

It's absolutely pointless, you've got an outdated view.  This guy has had his struggles, stats wise he's outperforming several of our players currently, granted it's in league 2 in England but if you compare his stats to some of the players we have from that level, again he out performs them.

We've signed players before that done well for the club despite coming from a league that's full of dross, it appears that you cunts are deluded as fuck and there's little point arguing with you.

He's 25, nae 21.

A mid career journeyman from the lower echelons of English football.

Anything under 28 fits the new process, well it should, we bought older experienced players in the summer, you'd be pishing yourself if we signed a 30 something from league 1.

HAHAHAHA, excellent, I don't think I'm ITK, I KNOW that I am.

I know plenty about football, I was one of the first urging the club to follow the Brentford model as come time it will be what sets us apart and helps us to compete properly, sadly it takes it time.

Mini is just too enamoured with Cormack and Glass to be objective.

Not at all, it's more that I see what they want to do but they are wasting their time here because the majority of our fans are gypes.
