Pointless crying about it now. He's our player for the next few months so we might as well get full value for our money. He's played 10 times for Celtic so he shouldn't be a dud

Glass either doesn't rate MacKenzie (presumably MacKenzie's extension to 2025 was negotiated under the previous regime) or he doesn't rate his chances of staying fit for any length of time,

Towler and Ngwenya are getting experience at the right level for now. Ngwenya in particular should be looking to kick on in pre-season when he might just about be ready to push for a regular starting spot for us

Disagree.

I was a defender of DC and the strategy.

We've been sold a pile of fucking shite thus far.

Just recall Ngwenya from Kelty - he is a good prospect at LB too.

Stupid signing.

Aye if we need a LB because of an injury to either Hayes ir MacKenzie then recall our own one rather than develop another one for Celtic. He's contracted for like 4 years yet so no option to buy and it just seems so pointless. We don't benefit from this in the slightest

Tell you what though, I expect any other signings to be fucking permanent and of really good quality. Then i could maybe let this one slide. If the rest are along these lines that pretend yankee bastard will get both barrels.

Our club is regressing at an alarming rate, why are we developing players for the Timms? Disagree with you TC - GLASS OUT NOW

Come on TC

You don't believe either of these things.

He's not good enough for Celtic hence why he was earmarked to go on loan to Kilmarnock.  When he was in the Celtic team at the start of the season they were leaking goals.

And McInnes didn't look twice at McKenzie so why would he have sanctioned a 4 year deal?  He preferred to give an injured Greg Leigh 2 short term contracts ffs.

It fits in with the stradegy and it's all part of the prawcess... develop emerging talent and give them a clear pathway to the first team. Just not our own talent or our own first team. It's an embarrassing signing. The kind of signing St Johnstone or someone make.

Absolute shambles.

Looks like we can't get a winger in. Push Hayes forward, and have Mackenzie and Montgomery for LB slot

Montgomery is like Hayes in that he can play wing or full back.
Can see the sense of it, apart from him being on loan from the Tims, which I’m against - we shouldn’t be helping another team in our league to develop one of their younger players.

Desperately need a couple of attacking players though.

Does nobody in the club... Glass, Russell, Agadoo, Gunn, Brown, Cormack or the rest... stop to think for a second... "the fans are going to absolutely hate this signing"

They can't think like that. They identify positions they need, who will play ball, if a deal can be done etc, the fans shouldn't come into the thoughts at all when identifying talent.

The criticism has to be of the evangelical POS spinster running the club.

We've been sold a lie.

Of course they have to think like that - the fans are the ones who pay their wages, keep them in a job, and can effectively get them punted from their jobs. They should have a policy in place that we don't loan players from other clubs in the league unless there is an option to buy at the end of it, or unless it's like the McCrorie deal where it was really a permanent signing and the loan aspect was a technicality for a few months.

Can you think of any other reason why we have brought him in?

Glass appointed interim manager on 23rd March. MacKenzie signed new deal on 29th March. With the best will in the world, that wasn't Glass' decision. Not all the McInnes backroom staff left remember.

65 games in his career and 3 goals? Sounds about right. But it's ok. He's an emerging talent

At least he's young with potential to develop/re-sell.
