Well, 'good', as I've pointed out earlier, is a subjective thing.

Possession, passing, and 'attractive' football count for nothing if the end result is bottom six, missing out on Europe, and losing to teams of hammer throwers who simply need to be a bit organised to beat us.

Easier to fix than playing shite and losing. We aren’t far away. Take emotion out of it, we were very good that first half and should have scored a few.

Can't defend. It's that simple. 2 clean sheets in 23 (?) games. No wonder the record is bad .

There it is in a nutshell.

That’s the only stat you need.

We can’t defend. We have a soft centre, and teams know that. It’ll take one or two chances to realistically score against us, so teams don’t even have to work that hard to get a result against us-just do the basics.

Disagree. If people can’t see we are playing good football then they are clueless.

Need to cut out the mistakes at the back but today has been hugely unlucky. It’ll come against these shit teams. Motherwell are fucked if this is the standard they set.

Sounds like someone with a gambling problem

That's true, but the way we collapsed after the first goal was predictable... a second seemed likely, and again our defence was posted missing. We are a ludicrously fragile team.

I like watching an Aberdeen side that can pass a ball... feels like the first time in years... but how we played is going to be of secondary importance when the points are totaled up, and the natives WILL get restless.

Came back from a real blow last weekend.

It’s a team with a new manager and new players. It’ll take time but there’s something to work with. Second half against Hearts was some of the best stuff I’ve seen from us in years. Need to work out how to beat these shit cunts like Motherwell however but if people come out with the sacking shite again then they need their heads looked at.

Until we get some sort of defensive stability results like this will keep happening. We are just too easy to score against it's been the same story all season. It certainly doesn't help that we have one natural defender available for selection at the moment.

Yeah but we have a lot of injuries in defence so thankfully it could be a lot worse if not for that

So frustrating. Yet another team we come up against while on a poor run of form and without a win in x number of games and we gift them the 3 points. How many times is that now? There was St Johnstone, Dundee and now Motherwell.

Can't say we played badly either -  just nothing would drop for us. What a dirty, niggly time wasting bunch of bastards Well are though.

70% possession

But fucking pointless having all that much of the ball when your defence can't defend. And you create very little for the attackers to take advantage of.

Hopefully the international break will see Ramsay, MacKenzie and Gallagher all return to fitness. Because they're walking back into the side if they are.

A bad result against United and the knives will be back out for Glass

True but even when the likes of Ramsay, Gallagher and McKenzie have been playing we were still shipping very soft goals. Devlin is basically a write off and Considine very unlucky with his injury on a shocking pitch. It is very unlucky to have 5 players from one area of the team all out injured at the same time but I'm honestly not sure we'd be that much more secure at the back if they were all fit. We haven't convinced defensively at all since Glass arrived which is a major worry.
