Ok so the Utd keep (I think) was trying to keep him away as he walked off after sending off. My mistake there I will admit but his booking is for not returning to pitch straight away. Basically not de-escalating situation.
As I said. Players get booked for this just for not returning to pitch after scoring a goal.

Players also get booked for potentially inciting trouble after scoring & getting in opposing fans faces.
blinkers need taken off here. It’s just a booking & (sadly) rightly so by rules. Over reacting is happening given circumstances surrounding it all & the fact it results in it being a red & it being a cunt ref etc.

it was a booking that most would laugh at had it been just a first booking & we hadn’t lost game.

In all fairness I was angry when I posted yesterday. Those who have stated it wasn't the worst decision ever are indeed correct. Still think the ref messed up mind.

Damage limitation

Club knows the fans aren’t happy  with Glass chucking Ojo under a bus,

Exactly what I thought. It’s taken over a full day for a statement to come out, and they were at pains to point out that Glass has now been able to watch the footage (I.e., giving him a reason/excuse for his earlier opinion on Ojo).

it’s quite transparent.

I don't believe there is an agenda against Aberdeen FC however we've had some appalling decisions go against this season which just highlights the need for not only VAR but a complete reevaluation of the current state of Scottish referees. I'd welcome the possibility of foreign referees officiating Scottish League fixtures in the future. Something needs to change.

Imo, Madden nor John Beaton should be allowed to officiate another fixture involving Aberdeen ever again.

I hate the Sevco cunts as much as anyone but they weren't happy with Clancy and he did not officiate any of their games for a period of time.

I’d be quite happy if he did that tbh along with the 4 loans, JET and Bates 😄

Glass delighted that the Ojo situation overshadows yet another miserable afternoon on the pitch.

I hope that fat cunt dies and it was poor from Glass to blame Ojo.

He also claimed he’s been brilliant all season, leading me to believe Glass is mentally confused.

Yep. It's deflected nicely for the fact we've only won 4 games in the league...this can't be forgotten

Yes but if there’s slack to be offered at all our performances against the better teams recently have been better and injuries have been horrendous.  The fault lay Aug-Sep shipping what seemed like every point to what was always going to be bottom 6 dross.

Progress of sorts.  Don’t think it’s enough though.

I don't see much progress myself. It's the same week after week. We keep the ball lots, but do little with it. Then lose. Utd are a bang average team...

That’s what I mean.  Retaining the ball is definitely progress from the days of Taylor and Devlin but just feel it’s gone horribly stale again and we are understably asking if said progress will continue.

It's all well keeping the ball, if you manage to do something with it. We're not

Possession is pointless if it always ends in the speculative big boot up the park. Whenever we see signs of a quick break upfield it comes to a halt when we slow down and let them get back and pack the defence. Doesnt help when Ramirez has to roam all over the pitch to make contact with the ball. Sometimes Brown opens up things with a great pass, but nobody knows what to do with it then. It's just a total mess.

Trying to be positive (and Im increasingly in the change now camp to be clear) speculative hoofs up the park require us to play galoots like Cosgrove or Stockley before him to just fight for scraps or even worse, the infamous second ball.  That gets you so far in Scottish football, steady 5-6th, 3-4th if you get it right and Arabs/Jambos/Hibs follow the same path trying to just match muscle with muscle .  Possession offers us the chance to use more clever players like Ramirez with the longer term goal of getting ahead of mid table AND at least having a decent go at the top two.  For all they've been shite to date that seems to be Jack Ross' model.

But totally agree, we're not doing it at the moment and showing little signs of learning or, crucially, having the capacity to learn.
