There’s contact for sure, but not enough for a foul.The ball is well away from Hedges and there are a couple of covering players.

They might well have had a chance of getting the pen at the other end, but we’d be screaming of blatant cheating if they did, and rightly so.

It's as clear a penalty as you'll see. Unless you're Clancy..or Madden..or Beaton..or Collum or any fucking official in the country.

 

But you can't continually give cheap goals like that away and expect to win games like this. We've shown enough going forward that we can score but also shown defensively we can concede a few more. Not a good combination

How much contact does he have to make? A full punch in the face? VAR would have shown the contact and that’s all it needs to be a pen and a red card.
